Summertime ushers in California’s most highly anticipated season of horse racing with the opening of Del Mar’s summer meet starting Friday, July 17. The 89th Del Mar summer season will encompass 32 race days conducted mostly on a Thursday-through-Sunday basis and ending on Labor Day, Sept. 7.
