Tickets Now On Sale For Breeders’ Cup World Championships At Del Mar

Tickets are now on sale for the 2021 Breeders' Cup World Championships at Del Mar racetrack, the iconic Southern California racing venue. This year's prestigious international event, which returns to Del Mar on Nov. 5 and 6 for just the second time in its history, will utilize 100 percent of seated capacity in accordance with state and local public health guidelines.

Fans can purchase tickets online at BreedersCup.com/Tickets or by calling the ticketing office at (859) 514-9428. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible, as demand is expected to be high with patrons returning to the World Championships after being unable to attend in person in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 World Championships promises to further cement the annual event as an unparalleled, luxury lifestyle experience showcasing the world's best horse racing and hospitality.

“We are elated to welcome fans back in full force as we return to southern California's beautiful oceanside racing venue, Del Mar racetrack,” said Breeders' Cup President and CEO Drew Fleming. “Breeders' Cup and Del Mar Thoroughbred Club have worked in close collaboration over the course of the past year to ensure our fans and participants receive a safe, best-in-class experience that showcases exceptional Thoroughbred racing.”

Historic Del Mar racetrack is located just 20 miles north of San Diego, where “the turf meets the surf.” In addition to elite international racing, attendees will enjoy Del Mar's scenic seaside city backdrop coupled with the vibrant nightlife of nearby San Diego.

Attendees can choose from premium dining packages, box seating options and reserved seating. Two-day dining packages are available for purchase ranging from $775 to $1,875 per seat, while box seating options include both single and two-day packages ranging from $375 to $975 per seat. Reserved seating is available in both single and two-day packages that range from $100 to $475 per seat. All tickets will be sold in advance of the World Championships and are subject to the availability at the time of purchase. No tickets will be sold on-site. General admission tickets will not be sold at this time; however, Breeders' Cup is in close communication with local public health officials and is hopeful that as conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic continue to improve, general admission tickets will be made available closer to the World Championships. Parking on-site at Del Mar is limited and only available to attendees with official pre-paid parking credentials. A complimentary public shuttle service will be operating to and from the track from a designated off-site park-and-ride location at Del Mar Horsepark on both Nov. 5 and Nov. 6. Saratoga General Admission Tickets Go On Sale July 1

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced that single-day general admission tickets for the 2021 season at Saratoga Race Course will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com beginning Thursday, July 1 at 10 a.m.

General admission tickets may also be purchased on the day of the event at all track admission gates. Single-day Grandstand admission is $7 and Clubhouse admission is $10 – the same as in 2019.

General admission tickets for the 152nd running of the Grade 1, $1.25 million Runhappy Travers on Saturday, August 28 are $15 when purchased in advance. Tickets may also be purchased at the gates on the day of the event for $20, pending availability. A limited number of Clubhouse admission tickets are available for $25.

“There is no change to our general admission policy for the 2021 summer meet,” said NYRA Senior Director of Communications Pat McKenna. “Fans can purchase their general admission tickets in advance or at the gates. We do, however, encourage fans to plan ahead and purchase their Runhappy Travers tickets in advance to save $5 and guarantee admission to the signature day of the summer meet.”

A Grandstand general admission ticket provides access to the popular Saratoga backyard, trackside apron and select areas of the Grandstand. Clubhouse admission provides access to Clubhouse dining areas, including the Turf Terrace, Club Terrace and The Porch.

Fans may also purchase season admission passes to Saratoga Race Course. A season pass provides admission to all 40 days of the Saratoga meet, including Runhappy Travers Day.

Clubhouse season passes are available for $75 at Season Passes | NYRA. Grandstand season passes are $50 and may be purchased in-person at more than 150 participating Capital Region Stewart's Shops and online at Season Passes | NYRA.

Fans will not be required to provide proof of vaccination for admission to Saratoga Race Course. Non-vaccinated individuals will be required to wear a facial covering during their day at Saratoga Race Course, in accordance with federal CDC guidance.

NYRA reserves the right to amend admission protocols based on updates and adjustments by New York State.

The 40-day summer meet at historic Saratoga Race Course will feature 76 stakes worth $21.5 million in total purses highlighted by the 152nd renewal of the Grade 1, $1.25 million Runhappy Travers on August 28 and the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney on August 7, as the anchors of two of the most prestigious racing days in North America.

Following the four-day opening weekend from Thursday, July 15 through Sunday, July 18, racing will be conducted five days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays, with the exception of the final week, when the meet will conclude on Labor Day.

NYRA Announces More Ticket Sales Dates for Saratoga

The New York Racing Association announced the on-sale dates for all hospitality areas, including tickets for individual days, for the 2021 summer meet at Saratoga, which runs July 15 through Sept. 6.

Fans will have an opportunity to purchase their tickets according to the following timeline:

  • Grandstand season passes and NYRA Bets Gift Cards will be available for purchase at more than 150 participating Capital Region Stewart's Shops June 21. Please visit stewartsshops.com for locations.
  • Single-day tickets for reserved seats in the Clubhouse, Grandstand and The Stretch will be available via Ticketmaster.com June 23 at 10 a.m.
  • Single-day reservations for tables in the Fourstardave Sports Bar, Miller Lite Picnic Paddock and The Rail at the 1863 Club will be available via Ticketmaster.com June 23 at 10 a.m.
  • Single-day dining reservations in the Turf Terrace, The Porch and Club Terrace will be available via Ticketmaster.com June 30 at 10 a.m.
  • Season and weekly ticket plans are currently on-sale at NYRA.com/Saratoga. Group hospitality reservations are currently available via email at boxoffice@nyrainc.com or by phone at (844) NYRA-TIX. Tables in the Festival Tent may be reserved via Ticketmaster.com.

Grandstand season passes will be available for purchase at participating Stewart's Shops for $50 through July 18. A season pass provides fans with admission to all 40 days at Saratoga Race Course. Season passes do not include reserved seating.

Stewart's Shops is also the exclusive retailer of NYRA Bets gift cards. Fans who purchase a grandstand season pass in combination with a NYRA Bets Gift Card at Stewart's Shops save $5.

Breeders’ Cup To Be Held At Full Seating Capacity at Del Mar

Breeders' Cup will utilize 100% of seated capacity at Del Mar for the 2021 Breeders' Cup World Championships. Tickets will go on sale to the public at Noon ET and 9 a.m. PT Friday, July 16. Available seating options and pricing can be viewed now at BreedersCup.com/tickets.

Del Mar is set to host the World Championships, one of Thoroughbred racing's most prestigious international events, for just the second time Nov. 5-6.

“After conducting the 2020 World Championships without fans in attendance, we are delighted to be able to safely welcome fans back to the Breeders' Cup World Championships this November,” said Breeders' Cup President and CEO Drew Fleming. “Fans will once again be invited to experience the unparalleled competition, fanfare and hospitality that have become synonymous with the Breeders' Cup as the world's most talented horses, jockeys, and trainers go head-to-head at beautiful Del Mar.”

Del Mar recently announced plans to conduct its 2021 summer race meet at 100% of seated capacity for fans throughout its facility in accordance with local state and county public health guidelines in Southern California.

Seating options for the 2021 Breeders' Cup World Championships include:

  • Premium dining: Fans can enjoy a fine-dining experience from the Clubhouse, Stretch Run or Paddock dining areas. Two-day dining packages are available for purchase ranging from $775 to $1,875 per seat.
  • Box seating: Patrons in box seats are offered cocktail service and menu options delivered directly to their seats in the Clubhouse and Stretch Run Box seat locations. Box seating options include both single and two-day packages ranging from $375 to $975 per seat.
  • Reserved seating: Fans can opt for open-air, covered, stadium-style seats. Reserved Seating is available in both single and two-day packages that range from $100 to $475 per seat.

General admission tickets will not be sold at this time. However, Breeders' Cup is closely coordinating with local health officials and is hopeful to be in a position to offer general admission closer to the World Championships. All tickets will be sold in advance of the event and are subject to the availability at the time of purchase. No tickets will be sold onsite.

In addition, all parking on-site at Del Mar will be limited and only available to those with official pre-paid parking credentials. To help enhance the transportation experience at Del Mar, Breeders' Cup will offer a park-and-ride program with complimentary public shuttle service to the track from two designated off-site park-and-ride locations on both racing days.
