Margaux Farm is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie O'Rourke as broodmare and yearling manager.
O'Rourke will begin her new role Dec. 14 at the Midway, Ky. farm. A familiar face to many in the industry, O'Rourke grew up surrounded by horses while living in Oshawa, Ontario. She spent her formative years showing jumpers, visiting Kentucky for sales, and working with mares, foals, and yearlings at the historic Canadian nursery, Windfields Farm.
O'Rourke has spent the past 11 years working for Adena Springs, starting at the Canadian division and then serving as the broodmare manager at the Kentucky division since 2015. In addition to mares and foals, O'Rourke also brings extensive yearling management and sales prep experience with her.
