The supplemental catalog for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2022 June Sale of 2-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age is now available via the OBS website at obssales.com and available in printed form at the OBS sales grounds.
One Horse of Racing Age and 50 Two-Year-Olds have been supplemented to the three-day sale, and will sell as Hip No.'s 1061 – 1110 (2-year-olds) and 1167 (horses of racing age). All sessions begin at 10 a.m. Hip No.'s 1 – 374 will sell on Tuesday, June 7; Hip No.'s 375 – 748 will be offered on Wednesday, June 8 and Hip No.'s 749 – 1167 will sell on Thursday, June 9.
There are six Under Tack Sessions. Hip No.'s 1 – 187 will go to the track on Monday, May 30, Hip No.'s 188 – 374 work on Tuesday May 31, Hip No.'s 375 – 561 will breeze on Wednesday, June 1, Hip No.'s 562 – 748 go Thursday, June 2, Hip No.'s 749 – 935 breeze Friday, June 3. Hip No.'s 936 – 1060 plus supplements 1061 – 1110 (2-Year-Olds) and Hip No.'s 1151 – 1166 plus supplement 1167 (horses of racing age) will go on Saturday, June 4. All Under Tack sessions begin at 7:30 a.m.
OBS will again offer online bidding during the Spring Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. For complete information on registration and online bidding please go to the OBS website.
The online catalog's main page contains a link to a sortable master index providing searchable pedigree and consignor information as well as access to pedigree updates occurring since the catalog was printed.
The sortable master index has been updated with advanced search and filter capability and to allow shortlist creation. A link to instructions for using the new features can be found in the index header and a step by step tutorial is available in the index as well.
The iPad version of the catalog can be accessed via the equineline Sales Catalog App. The App allows users to download and view the catalog, receive updates and results, record notes and also provides innovative search, sort and rating capability.
