Unbeaten Flightline, the world's top-rated racehorse, worked easy half mile Saturday at Santa Anita.
Trained by John Sadler, the 4-year-old Tapit colt was clocked in a handy :48, the sixth fastest of 82 timed moves at the distance. The drill, under Sadler's assistant Juan Leyva, was his first since his scintillating 19 ¼-length triumph in the TVG Pacific Classic (G1) Sept. 3 at Del Mar.
Flightline, who is campaigned by West Point Thoroughbreds, breeder Summer Wind Farm, Hronis Racing, and Siena Farm, is pointing to the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) Nov. 5 at Keeneland.
