Churchill Downs Announces 2023 Kentucky Derby Partnerships

The lineup of partners and licensees for the 149th Kentucky Derby, with new partnerships and renewals including Brown-Forman brands: Woodford Reserve, Old Forester, Finlandia, Tequila Herradura; BMW of North America, White Claw, FanDuel, vineyard vines, AT&T, Third Time Entertainment, Ford's Garage, Romero Britto, and Paramount Network's Yellowstone, was announced Thursday by Churchill Downs Racetrack.

“The Kentucky Derby is where global trends meet traditions in authentic, inspiring and impactful ways,” said Casey Ramage, Churchill Downs Racetrack's Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships. “From spirits to fashion and virtual entertainment to automotive, we're thrilled to embrace the variety our partnerships bring Kentucky Derby fans for an unbeatably enjoyable experience, no matter where they find themselves on Derby Day–at the track or at home.”

Woodford Reserve Kentucky Derby Bottle to Benefit TRF

Stoneware & Co. will offer a limited number of signed Woodford Reserve Kentucky Derby bottles to benefit the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. This year's signed collector's edition will commemorate the 10th anniversary of Orb winning the Run for the Roses and will be signed by his Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey and Eclipse Award-winning jockey Joel Rosario.

“The Kentucky Derby is one of the greatest sporting events in the country,” said TRF executive director Kelly Armer. “With a captive horse racing audience, we are thrilled to be able to inform folks of the significance of Thoroughbred aftercare. We are so grateful for the continued support from Stoneware & Co., as well as the generosity of Shug McGaughey and Joel Rosario who are dedicating their precious time to participate.”

Tickets on Sale for New Secretariat Exhibit Launch Party

The tickets are on sale for the Apr. 20 Kentucky Derby Museum's Secretariat Bourbon Dinner, presented by Fifth Third Bank. Guests at this launch party will have several opportunities, including being the first to explore the new exhibit, Secretariat: America's Horse, before it opens to the public Apr. 21.

Woodford Reserve Extends Partnership as Presenting Sponsor of the Kentucky Derby

Churchill Downs Racetrack has entered an agreement with Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon that will solidify the renewal of Woodford Reserve as the presenting sponsor of the Kentucky Derby through 2027. Woodford Reserve has been the “Official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby” since 1999 and the presenting sponsor for the past four years.
