Pair Of Wildcards Join Tattersalls March Sale

The catalogue for the Tattersalls March Sale was augmented with a pair of wildcards on Friday. Set for Wednesday, Mar. 27, the sale begins at 11 a.m.

Tasmanian Legend (Ire) (Australia {GB}) (lot 50A) will be offered by Alice Haynes Racing and is rated 81 on Timeform. The 3-year-old gelding sports a pair of wins over 1 1/16 miles in February and March.

Joining the three-time winner is Lodge Hill Stables' Emily's Star (GB) (Kayf Tara {GB}) (lot 50B), who is a half-sister to the Grade 3-placed Ma Belle Amie (GB) (Oscar {Ire}), as well as the dam of graded winner Midnight River (GB) (Midnight Legend {GB}). The 7-year-old mare is out of a full-sister to graded-winning jumpers Irish Royal (Fr) and Ma Royale (Fr), both by Garde Royale (Ire).

Half-Share In Wooded Among Arqana November Online Wildcards

A half-share in Group 1-winning sprinter Wooded (Fr) (Wootton Bassett {GB}) (lot 11) is among the three wildcard lots added to the Arqana November Online Sale on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 4-6 p.m.

The other two wildcards are both breeding rights, one in Grade 1-winning jumper Goliath Du Berlais (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}) (lot 10) and one in G1 Irish Derby hero Latrobe (Ire) (Camelot {GB}) (lot 12). The former has first 3-year-olds in 2024, while the latter has his first juveniles next term.

Group Winner Anchors Sextet Of Tattersalls Autumn Wildcards

Group winner Jack Darcy (Ire) (Gleneagles {Ire}) (lot 1131A) is one of six wildcards added to the Tattersalls Autumn Horses-in-Training Sale on Wednesday. The sale runs from Monday, Oct. 23 through Friday, Oct. 27 at Park Paddocks.

The G2 Grand Prix de Deauville victor is out of a half-sister to Group 1 winners Reams Of Verse (Nureyev) and Elmaamul (Diesis {GB}) and will be offered by Barton Stud.

Joining the G2 Prix Dollar runner-up is True Testament (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}) (lot 772A). Part of the Jamie Railton draft, the 4-year-old has placed four times at group level.

A quartet of juveniles have also signed on to the sale, including lot 772B, Keatley Racing's winner Thanks Forever (Ire) (Kessaar {Ire}); G3 Round Tower S.-placed Chandigah (Ire) (Churchill {Ire}) (lot 772C) from the Blackmiller Stable draft; Meadowview Stables' Ritournelle (Ire) (Awtaad {Ire}) (lot 1131B), who won at Thurles recently; and Black Hole (Mitole) (lot 1131C), a winner at Wolverhampton, will go through the ring for trainer Jamie Osborne's The Old Malthouse Stables.
