Wild Cards Added to Arqana Summer Sale

A quartet of Wild Card entries have been added to the upcoming Arqana Summer Sale, set to take place July 4-6 in Deauville. The four horses-in-training will be on offer Thursday July 6 beginning at 11am.

The latest additions are led by Mille Dreams (Fr) (Dream Ahead) (lot 468), a winner on debut at Compiegne. Offered by Fabrice Chappet, the 3-year-old is from the family of group winners Tampoli, Luth De Saron, Roi Normand and Luth Dancer.

A trio of jumpers are also included, Jamaico (Fr) (Cokoriko) (lot 505), Karouska (Fr) (Great Pretender) (lot 506) and Lady Pretender (Fr) (Great Pretender) (lot 507).

More Wild Cards Added To Arc Sale

Officials at Arqana have announced the addition of three wild-card entries for the auction house's upcoming Arc Sale, to be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Saint-Cloud.

Rocchigiani (GB) (Time Test {GB}) will go under the hammer as lot 43 next weekend. The Peter Schiergen trainee took out the G3 Zukunfts-Rennen at Baden last year and has retained winning form this term, with a runner-up effort to Maljoom (Ire) (Caravaggio) in the G2 Mehl-Muhlens Rennen (German 2000 Guineas) at Cologne before posting a 3/4-length success in the G3 Thoroughbred S. at Goodwood July 29. He is a half-brother to the stakes-winning and multiple group-placed Ross (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}).

Mister Saint Paul (Fr) (Dariyan {Fr}) will be offered by Etienne and Gregoire Leenders as lot 28. Currently rated 104, the 3-year-old closed out his juvenile campaign with an upset victory in the Listed Prix Isonomy last October and was a 21-1 chance when scooping the G3 Prix La Force at ParisLongchamp this past April.

The last of the trio is Jimmy Du Seuil (AQPS) (Fr) (Galiway {GB}), a half-brother to Fairyhouse Juvenile Hurdle winner Iberique De Seuil (AQPS) (Fr) (Spanish Moon {GB}).

Quintet Of Wild Cards Join Arqana Summer Sale

Five more wild cards were added to the Arqana Summer Sale in Deauville on Friday. Scheduled for June 30-July 1, the two-day stand has gained lot 420, the Pia and Joakim Brandt-trained Areen (Giant's Causeway), who is a half-brother to the stakes horse Royale By Nature (Ire) (Myboycharlie {Ire}). Alexandra Rosa will consign the placed Queen Clemence (Ire) (Footstepsinthesand {GB}) (lot 442) from the family of G1 Prix du Jockey Club hero Blue Canari (Fr) (Acatenango {Ger}); while Daddy Long Legs (Fr) (Almanzor {Fr}) (lot 443), out of the listed winner Private Eye (Fr) (American Post {GB}) will be offered by Nicolas Clement. Lot 444, Afadil (Fr) (Camelot {GB}), has won over 2200 metres for trainer Francis-Henri Graffard, and is related to the group winners Ashkalani (Ire) (Soviet Star), Gengis (Fr) (King's Best), and Shafaraz (Fr) (Levmoss {GB}). Francois Nicolle sends the listed hurdle scorer Mombasa (Fr) (Martaline {GB}) through the ring as lot 500.

Nine Wild Cards Bolster Tattersalls Online June Sale

The catalogue for the Tattersalls Online June Sale has grown to 47 with the addition of nine wild cards on Tuesday. Set for Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m., the sale's latest entries include Spirit Of Rome (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) (lot 47) in foal to Nathaniel (Ire). She hails from the family of Group 3 winner Venturi (GB) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}), and the listed winner and Group 1-placed Feels All Right (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}). Another lot of note among the wild cards is Global Esteem (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) (lot 45), who has four wins to his name. He is a full-brother to listed winner and the Group 3-placed Terror (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}).
