Keeneland's Hagyard Fayette Stakes (G2) on Saturday and Santa Anita's Twilight Derby (G2T) on Halloween Sunday highlight the weekend graded stakes schedule. Additionally, Belmont Park hosts Empire Showcase Day on Saturday, featuring eight New York-bred stakes and Churchill Downs offers Stars of Tomorrow I, an 11-race Halloween Sunday program dedicated exclusively to 2-year-old racing.

Friday, Oct. 29

5:16 PM ET – $150,000 Rubicon Valley View Stakes (G3T) at Keeneland on TVG

An overflow field of 16 was entered in the 1 1/6-mile Rubicon Valley View Stakes (G3T) for 3-year-old fillies. Trainer Kenny McPeek is represented by the duo of Crazy Beautiful, a main track multiple Grade 2 stakes winner and Grade 1 stakes placed Kentucky-bred daughter of Liam's Map, and multiple stakes winner Oliviaofthedesert, a Kentucky-bred daughter of the late Bernardini. Undefeated Lady Speightspeare, a Kentucky-bred daughter of Speightstown, won the Natalma Stakes (G1T) over Woodbine's turf course as a 2-year-old and won her only start of 2021 last month over that same course. Trainer Joseph O'Brien sends Queenship (IRE), a winner of three of four lifetime starts, for her first United States race.

5:16 PM ET – $200,000 Hagyard Fayette Stakes (G2) at Keeneland on TVG

Independence Hall, fresh off a runner-up finish to NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll leader Knicks Go in last month's Lukas Classic Stakes (G3) at Churchill Downs, is the morning line favorite in the nine-horse Fayette field. The Kentucky-bred son of Constitution will break from post five under Javier Castellano for trainer Michael McCarthy. Trainer Shug McGaughey has entered Code of Honor, a multiple-Grade 1 winner and earner of nearly $3 million. Tyler Gaffalione will ride the Kentucky-bred son of Noble Mission (GB).

7:08 PM ET – $100,000 Autumn Miss Stakes (G3T) at Santa Anita on TVG

Zero Tolerance, winner of two of three career starts, looks for her first graded stakes win in the one-mile Autumn Miss (G3T) for trainer Peter Miller. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Mizzen Mast rallied late to win the listed Unzip Me Stakes earlier this month over Santa Anita's downhill turf course. Ego Trip (IRE), a maiden in three starts and trained by Brendan Walsh, finished third to Technical Analysis (IRE) in Saratoga's Lake Placid Stakes (G2T) in August.

3:49 PM ET – $200,000 Bold Ruler Handicap (G3) at Belmont Park on FS1

A four-time winner in seven 2021 starts, Plainsman enters the seven-furlong Bold Ruler off a win in the Ack Ack Stakes (G3) at Churchill Downs. Trained by Eclipse Award-winning trainer Brad Cox, the Kentucky-bred son of Flatter will visit his sixth track this year. Wonderwherecraigis crossed the line first last out in the Frank J. DeFrancis Memorial Dash Stakes (G3) but was disqualified for interference with a rival in the stretch and placed second. The Brittany Russell-trained gelding has won three of five starts this year.

4:30 PM ET – $150,000 Ontario Derby (G3) at Woodbine on TVG

A field of eight 3-year-olds is entered in the 1-1/8-mile main track Ontario Derby (G3). Ontario-bred Riptide Rock was upset as the favorite by 25-1 shot British Royalty in Woodbine's Breeders' Stakes last month. Sid Attard, a Canadian Hall of Fame inductee, trains the Point of Entry gelding for Stronach Stables. Swot Analysis returned from a nearly 10-month layoff to win a seven-furlong allowance race over Woodbine's All Weather Track in his last start. The Louisiana-bred Anchor Down colt is trained by and will be making just his fifth career start.

8:00 PM ET – $200,000 Twilight Derby (G2T) at Santa Anita on TVG

This year's Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner, Rock Your World, returns to the turf for the first time after beginning his career a perfect two for two on the surface earlier this year. The Kentucky-bred son of Candy Ride (ARG) ran unplaced in both the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) and Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets (G1) before finishing second most recently to Medina Spirit in Del Mar's Shared Belief Stakes. California-bred None Above the Law enters the 1-1/8-mile Twilight Derby off consecutive wins, including the Del Mar Derby presented by Caesars Sportsbook (G2) most recently. The Karakontie (JPN) gelding has won half of his 10 stars in 2021.

The Kentucky-bred gelded son of English Channel has not raced since upsetting odds-on favorite Domestic Spending (GB) in Arlington's Mr. D Stakes (G1T), formerly known as the Arlington Million. Two Emmys finished second in a 2019 starter allowance race in his only previous Keeneland start. Glynn County, trained by Mike Maker, finished third in the aforementioned Mr. D and third in the Calumet Turf Cup (G2T) last out. The Kentucky-bred son of Kitten's Joy will start from the rail.

1:55 PM ET – $150,000 Hendrie Stakes (G3) at Woodbine on TVG

Six fillies and mares are scheduled to contest the 6 ½ furlong Hendrie Stakes on Woodbine's All-Weather Track. Our Secret Agent, trained by Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse, is the morning line favorite. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Secret Circle is winless in four 2021 starts but has hit the board in three graded stakes races this year at Woodbine. Amalfi Coast (ON), winner of Woodbine's G3T Ontario Fashion Stakes most recently for trainer Kevin Attard, is expected to be the main challenger.

4:21 PM ET – $200,000 Nobel Damsel (G3T) at Belmont Park on FS2

High Opinion just missed in the G2 Ballston Spa Stakes in her most recent start for trainer Anthony Dutrow and leads a field of 10 fillies and mares in the one-mile G3T Noble Damsel. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Lemon Drop Kid will make her 10th career start and her second graded stakes start. Trainers Chad Brown and Shug McGaughey each have two entries in the Noble Damsel, with the former having won the race five times.

4:52 PM ET – $400,000 Hill Prince Stakes (G2T) at Belmont Park on FS2

Eleven 3-year-olds are set to run in the nine-furlong Hill Prince over Belmont's inner turf course. Never Surprised, trained by Hall of Fame conditioner Todd Pletcher and owned by Repole Stable, has a lifetime record of 4-2-2-0, with two graded stakes placings in two 2021 starts. The Kentucky-bred Constitution colt was last seen after a seven-month layoff in Saratoga's G3T Saranac Stakes where Public Sector (GB) prevailed by a length. That foe, trained by multiple Eclipse Award winner Chad Brown, also is entered in the Hill Prince and boasts three wins in five 2021 starts, including back to back graded stakes wins at Saratoga.

5:16 PM ET – $250,000 Lexus Raven Run Stakes (G2) at Keeneland on TVG

Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott has a powerful duo entered in the 13-horse Grade 2 Lexus Raven Run field, led by 3-1 morning line favorite Obligatory. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Curlin has a pair of Grade 1 stakes placings this year, including a second-place finish in the Cotillion Stakes on September 25. Mott also has Caramel Swirl, a daughter of Union Rags, entered. The Godolphin color bearer finished fourth as the odds-on favorite in the G3 Charles Town Oaks in her most recent start, and broke her maiden at Keeneland in April by 10 ¼ lengths.

4:12 PM ET – $150,000 Rood & Riddle Dowager Stakes (Gr. 3T) at Keeneland on TVG

Ten fillies and mares, including Grade 2 stakes winner Micheline, are entered for the 12-furlong Dowager Stakes. Trained by Michael Stidham for Godolphin, the Kentucky-bred Bernardini filly won the G2T Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs in March for her lone win in five 2021 starts. Florida-bred Key Biscayne won the listed Monroe Stakes at Gulfstream Park, a one-mile dirt contest in July originally scheduled for 1 1/16 miles on the turf. In her most recent start, the daughter of Brethren trained by Mike Maker placed second in a 1 1/8-mile allowance optional claiming race on Saratoga's inner turf course.

Trained by Wesley Ward, Campanelle will be making her first start since being unplaced in the Prix de Maurice de Gheest (G1) at Deauville in August. Joel Rosario will have the mount Friday and exit post position four. Also figuring to attract interest are the 1-2 finishers from last month's Mint Ladies Sprint (G3) at Kentucky Downs: In Good Spirits and Catch a Bid.

Fluffy Socks and Higher Truth (IRE) give trainer Chad Brown two chances to win his fourth Sands Point in the past five years when the duo faces six other 3-year-old fillies in the Grade 2T Sands Point. Fluffy Socks is winless in 2021 but has placed in two graded stakes, including a third in the Grade 1T Del Mar Oaks in her most recent start. Higher Truth has made each of her six career starts this year, including two wins and two stakes placings over the Belmont turf. Trainer Graham Motion has Harajuku (IRE) entered. Klaravich Stables' two-time graded stakes winner Technical Analysis (IRE) and Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables and Robert LaPenta's Shantisara (IRE) headline a field of 10 3-year-old fillies entered for the 38th running of the Grade 1T Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland. Chad Brown trains both Technical Analysis and Shantisara. Flippant, a Tapit filly trained by Vicki Oliver, is on a three-race winning streak, with two of those being stakes wins. Empress Josephine (IRE) finished third last out for trainer Aidan O'Brien when she faced older fillies and mares in the Grade 1T First Lady Stakes at Keeneland.

4:37 PM ET – $600,000 E.P. Taylor Stakes (G1T) at Woodbine on TVG

Ten fillies and mares, including Christophe Clement trainees La Dragontea (GB) and Mutamakina (GB), will vie for top honors in the Grade 1 $600,000 E.P. Taylor Stakes, a 1 ¼-mile turf test for fillies & mares. A 4-year-old daughter of Lope de Vega, La Dragontea will make her second straight start at Woodbine. The dark bay took the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes on September 18, fending off a stiff challenge in the stretch to win the 1 1/8-mile turf race by a length over Court Return. It was the fourth win from 12 starts for the Reeves Thoroughbred Racing and Rebecca Hillen-owned mare. Mutamakina, a 5-year-old daughter of Nathaniel-Joshua's Princess, also comes into the E.P. Taylor off a winning effort at Woodbine. The race is named after the late Canadian industrialist E.P. Taylor, owner of famed Windfields Farm in Ontario and Maryland.

Ten starters chase the top prize in the Grade 2 $250,000 Nearctic Stakes, a six-furlong grass engagement for three-year-olds and upward. Town Cruise (ON) has won three of four 2021 starts for trainer Brandon Greer, including an upset win in the Grade 1 Richoh Woodbine Mile Stakes in September. Olympic Runner won the Grade 2 King Edward Stakes over this course in August and finished unplaced in the Woodbine Mile for trainer Mark Casse.

4:44 PM ET – $200,000 Indian Summer Stakes (“Breeders' Cup Win and You're In”) at Keeneland on TVG and NBC Sports

Ten two-year-old turf sprinters are entered in the 5 ½ furlong Indian Summer Stakes, a Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” qualifying race for the $1 million Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2). Undefeated Averly Jane, a Kentucky-bred daughter of Midshipman, is one of two fillies in the field. The Wesley Ward trainee broke her maiden in her April debut on Keeneland's main track and has yet to run on the turf. In Saratoga's Skidmore Stakes, a race moved from the turf to dirt, Averly Jane led at every pole on her way to a 7 ¼ length score in her most recent start.

5:15 PM ET – $500,000 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes (Gr. 1-Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In”) at Keeneland on TVG and NBC Sports

Letruska, winner of four races in a row and six of her last seven, stands out in this 1 1/8 mile main track Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” qualifying race for the $2 million Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff. Included in the 5-year-old mare's current winning streak are three Grade 1s. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Super Saver began her career with six consecutive wins in Mexico and now has won 16 of 21 lifetime starts. She is currently rated behind only Knicks Go on the NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll and faces six others in the 66th running of this Grade 1. This is Letruska's first start at Keeneland.

A field of 14 is expected to start in the Castle & Key Bourbon Stakes (G2T), a Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” qualifying race for the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1). The 1 1/6 miles turf contest for 2-year-olds attracted 16 entries, including two also-eligibles. Tiz the Bomb, a Kentucky-bred Hit It A Bomb colt trained by Kenny McPeek, is a leading contender after taking the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile Stakes last out after breaking his maiden at Ellis Park by 14 ¼ lengths in his second career start. That one-mile dirt race was originally scheduled for the turf.

1:57 PM ET – $150,000 Durham Cup Stakes (Gr. 3) at Woodbine on TVG

A compact field of five is entered in this 1 1/6 miles race over Woodbine's All Weather Track, including 2019 Belmont Stakes winner Sir Winston. The Kentucky-bred son of Awesome Again has earned over $1 million in his 16-race career and most recently won a Woodbine allowance race in his only start this year. Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse also entered Tap It to Win, a Florida-bred son of Tapit who exits a win in the Grade 3 Seagram Cup Stakes.

2:43 PM ET – $150,000 Futurity Stakes (Gr. 3T-Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In”) at Belmont Park on FS2

Eight 2-year-old turf sprinters, including two fillies, are entered in this 6-furlong Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” qualifying event for the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2). Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher sends out Midnight Worker for his first turf start. The Kentucky-bred Outwork colt won his debut on the main track in a Saratoga maiden special weight and followed that with a third-place finish in Monmouth's Grade 3 Sapling Stakes, also on dirt. Chi Town Lady is two for two after taking Saratoga's Bolton Landing Stakes last out. The Verrazano filly is trained by Wesley Ward.

Multiple graded stakes winner Horologist takes on seven rivals to defend her title in the 1 1/8 mile Beldame for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott. The New Jersey-bred daughter of Gemologist has two wins on the year, including an easy 8 ½ length score in Saratoga's Summer Colony Stakes. She won last year's Beldame as the longest shot in a 4-horse field that included this year's distaff sensation, Letruska.

4:21 PM ET – $150,000 Knickerbocker (Gr. 3T) at Belmont Park on FS2

Nine older horses face off in the 1 1/8 mile Knickerbocker over the Belmont inner turf course. Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher has two entries in En Wye Cee and No Word. The former is a Kentucky-bred son of Declaration of War that finished third in last year's Knickerbocker and has had just one start since, a third-place finish in a Saratoga turf allowance optional claiming event over the same distance. No Word, second in last year's Grade 1 Belmont Derby, exits a second place finish in the Bernard Baruch Handicap (G2) over the Saratoga turf.

5:09 PM ET – $150,000 Ontario Matron Stakes (Gr. 3) at Woodbine on TVG

Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse has three entered in the six-horse field, including Skygaze, a multiple-graded stakes-placed Kentucky-bred daughter of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah. In her most recent start, Skygaze won the Belle Mahone Stakes on Woodbine's All Weather Track for her second win in three 2021 starts. Crystal Glacier, by Curlin, rallied late to finish second to her stablemate in the Belle Mahone and could be the main threat.
