TVG Featuring Live Coverage Of Seven ‘Win And You’re In’ Races From Santa Anita This Weekend

TVG, America's horse racing network and leading ADW platform, will be live on site at Santa Anita for a loaded opening weekend featuring seven Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” races including the Awesome Again Stakes (GI), a qualifying race for the $6 million Breeders' Cup Classic (GI) featuring a showdown between two of the top older horses in the country, Maximum Security and Improbable.

There will be expert analysis and exclusive interviews on site at Santa Anita from Todd Schrupp, Britney Eurton and Christina Blacker. They will be joined by Simon Bray and Mike Joyce who will be contributing to the broadcast remotely.

On Saturday, there will be five Breeders' Cup Challenge races on the star-studded eleven race card – the $100,000 Speakeasy Stakes (Juvenile Turf Sprint), the $200,000 Chandelier Stakes (Juvenile Fillies), the $300,000 Rodeo Drive Stakes (Filly and Mare Turf), the $300,000 Awesome Again Stakes (Classic) and the $300,000 American Pharoah Stakes (TVG Juvenile).

The Awesome Again Stakes (GI) will feature two of the stars of the Bob Baffert barn – 2019 Eclipse champion three-year-old Maximum Security and multiple Grade 1 winner Improbable. Maximum Security will be reunited with regular rider Luis Saez and comes into this race off of a victory in the TVG Pacific Classic (GI) in August. Improbable was last seen notching his second consecutive Grade 1 of the year in the Whitney Stakes (GI) at Saratoga.

On Sunday, the action continues with the $200,000 Zenyatta Stakes (Distaff) and the $200,000 Santa Anita Sprint Championship (Sprint). The Breeders' Cup World Championships will be held on November 6 and 7 at Keeneland.

Fans of international racing can tune in on Friday and Saturday morning as Candice Hare hosts the racing from Newmarket which will feature two Breeders' Cup Challenge Series races – the Shadwell Rockfel Stakes (Juvenile Fillies Turf) and the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes (Juvenile Turf).

TVG's Caleb Keller will be live trackside at Remington Park on Sunday for the track's premier race, the $200,000 Oklahoma Derby (GIII). The race has attracted a field of nine sophomores including graded stakes winner Shared Sense who has been installed as the morning line favorite at odds of 5-2 for trainer Brad Cox.

TVG will also feature racing from marquee venues across the country including Gulfstream Park, Monmouth Park and more.

TVG Live On Site For Hambletonian, Del Mar Stakes, Ellis Park Derby

TVG, America's horse racing network, will be live on site at racetracks across the country covering a loaded weekend of racing that includes the $1 million Hambletonian, one of harness racing's most prestigious events, alongside major graded stakes races from Del Mar and the Runhappy Ellis Park Derby, a prep race for the Kentucky Derby (GI) in September.

At the Meadowlands, Ramona Hill will go to post as the 5-2 morning line favorite with driver Andrew McCarthy as TVG will provide live, on-site coverage of the first jewel of the Trotting Triple Crown. TVG's Tom Cassidy will be live on-site with analysis and interviews as the track hosts the $600,000 Hambletonian Oaks as well as the 95th renewal of the $1 million Hambletonian. Hypnotic AM has been tabbed as the morning line favorite in the Oaks at odds of 5-2 with driver Brian Sears.

At Del Mar, there will be expert analysis and exclusive interviews on-site by Todd Schrupp, Mike Joyce, Britney Eurton, and Joaquin Jamie while Simon Bray and Christina Blacker will also be contributing to the broadcast. There are four graded stakes races scheduled at Del Mar from Friday through Sunday. Juveniles will be showcased in the $150,000 Sorrento Stakes (GII) for fillies on Friday and in Saturday's $150,000 Best Pal Stakes (GII). The $150,000 Yellow Ribbon Handicap (GII) for fillies and mares on the turf is also scheduled for Sunday and the stakes action concludes on Sunday with the $125,000 La Jolla Handicap (GII) for sophomores on the turf.

TVG will also be live on site at Ellis Park on Sunday for the $200,000 Runhappy Ellis Park Derby which will offer points towards a berth in the Kentucky Derby (GI) which will be run the first Saturday in September. The race will feature Art Collector, the impressive winner of the Blue Grass Stakes (GII) at Keeneland in July for trainer Tommy Drury. Brian Hernandez, Jr. will be aboard. Scott Hazelton and Gabby Gaudet will be trackside with interviews and analysis for the full card.

The winner of Saturday's $250,000 Bing Crosby Stakes (GI) will earn an automatic berth into the Breeders Cup Sprint (GI). The six-furlong contest was reduced to a field of nine when multiple Grade 1 winner McKinzie was an early scratch. The remaining contenders include the East Coast invader Lexitonian for trainer Jack Sisterson. The graded stakes winner will have Drayden Van Dyke in the irons. On Sunday, fillies and mares will take center stage in the $250,000 Clement L. Hirsch Stakes with a spot in the starting gate in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) at stake. The 2020 Breeders' Cup will be held November 6-7 at Keeneland.

Also on Saturday at Del Mar, the track will host a prep race for September's Kentucky Derby (GI) – the $100,000 Shared Belief Stakes. Carded at a mile and a sixteenth, the race has drawn a field of six contenders including Honor A.P. who will face off against a trio of challengers for trainer Bob Baffert. Honor A.P., trained by John Shirreffs, was last seen winning the Runhappy Santa Anita Derby (GI) in June. Mike Smith will be aboard.

Fans of international racing can tune in to TVG on Friday and Saturday morning to watch racing from Goodwood Racecourse in England. On Friday, the veteran Battaash (IRE) will attempt to win the King George Qatar Stakes (G2) for the fourth consecutive year. The six-year-old gelding is a multiple Group 1 winner and was last seen winning the King's Stand Stakes (G1) at Royal Ascot. Coverage begins at 5:00 a.m. PT/8:00 a.m. ET on Friday and 5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 a.m. ET on Saturday.

TVG will also be live on site at Ellis Park on Sunday with analysis and interviews from Scott Hazelton and Gabby Gaudet. In addition to Del Mar and Ellis Park, TVG will also be broadcasting racing from Gulfstream Park, Laurel Park, Monmouth Park and more all weekend.

TVG’s Weekend Coverage Features Racing From Ascot, Del Mar

On Saturday morning, international racing fans can tune into TVG, America's horse racing network, to watch champion Enable (GB) make a bid for a historic third win in the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes (GI) from Ascot. The race is scheduled for 10:35 a.m. ET/7:35 a.m. PT.

TVG's Scott Hazelton will be covering the race live from his home in Kentucky. The King George VI & Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes (GI) is part of the “Win and You're In” Breeders' Cup Challenge Series and the winner will earn an automatic berth in the Breeders' Cup Turf (GI). The 2020 Breeders' Cup will be held November 6-7 at Keeneland. Enable (GB), the heroine of the 2018 Breeders' Cup Turf (GI), won this race in 2017 and 2019. Trained by John Gosden with regular rider Frankie Dettori in the irons, the six-year-old mare is set to face three rivals from trainer Aidan O'Brien including multiple Group 1 winner Japan (GB).

TVG will be live on site at Del Mar covering a loaded weekend of racing featuring seven stakes races from Friday through Sunday including the $150,000 San Diego Handicap (GII), the $150,000 San Clemente Stakes (GII) and the $200,000 Eddie Read Stakes (GII). There will be expert analysis and exclusive interviews from Todd Schrupp, Mike Joyce and Joaquin Jamie alongside Britney Eurton and Simon Bray who will be contributing to the broadcast remotely. Del Mar has also added a card on Monday, July 27.

The San Diego Handicap (GII) will feature the return of 2019 Eclipse Award winner Maximum Security. The multiple Grade 1 winner will be making his first start since transferring to trainer Bob Baffert and will have Abel Cedillo in the irons for the first time. Maximum Security will face five rivals, including the 2019 TVG Pacific Classic (GI) champion Higher Power, in the 1 1/16 mile contest which is being used as a prep race for the $500,000 TVG Pacific Classic (GI) on August 22.

TVG will also be broadcasting racing from Gulfstream Park, Laurel Park, Monmouth Park and more all weekend.
