Gulfstream Rainbow 6 Guaranteed At $300,000 Sunday

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 Jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $300,000 Sunday at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved Saturday for the sixth racing day since a July 31 mandatory payout.

Sunday's Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10, headlined by a stakes-quality optional claiming allowance in Race 9. Terri Pompay-trained Cool Arrow, the 2020 Grade Smile Sprint winner will seek his first victory of the 2021 season in the mile race for 3-year-olds and up. Pompay will also be represented by Squeezadios, who is slated to make his first start of the year. Multiple-stake winner Garter and Tie is also scheduled to make his first start of the year Sunday, while Tamara Levy-trained Quenane will seek his 15th career score.

There will also be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $5,557.21.

First-race post time is set for 12:50 p.m.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot is paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
