Fasig-Tipton to Sponsor Chilean Oaks

Fasig-Tipton will sponsor the Clásico Las Oaks (Chilean Oaks) Friday, Dec. 17 at Club Hípico de Santiago. The Classic has been run in Chile since 1905, and as of 2006 has been contested over 2,000 meters. It will be race 14 of 20 and post time is 6:06 p.m. local time (4:06 p.m. EST).

Y Nada Mas (Chi) (Constitution), owned by Stud Haras Don Alberto, is the likely favorite on the back of five wins from seven starts, with two further placings.

“This is one of the most important races in Chile, but it is especially important to me and my family. We are very grateful to Fasig-Tipton for their sponsorship, recognizing the importance of this race and look forward to another exciting edition on Friday,” said Don Alberto's Carlos Heller.

Chestnut and IMP Graphics to Co-Sponsor William Knight Racing

Chester and Inventive Media Publishing (IMP Graphics) are the new co-sponsors of William Knight Racing, the yard announced on Tuesday. Chestnut founder and Chief Executive Philip Turner and IMP Graphics Managing Director Simon Mitchell revealed the new yard kit on the Newmarket gallops.

William Knight, said, “This is fantastic news for the yard. We are delighted Chestnut and IMP have decided to sponsor us. We strongly believe the partnership will be beneficial to all parties.”

Chestnut operates 14 East Anglian properties, among them award-winning pubs, inns and restaurants. Chestnut Chief Executive Philip Turner said, “This is an exciting partnership for Chestnut. It will enable us to engage with those directly connected to the yard, whilst also reaching out to the wider community of horseracing fans.”

Added IMP Graphics Managing Director Simon Mitchell, “An opportunity like this doesn't always present itself, so we are delighted we can forge this partnership with William Knight Racing. GAIN to Sponsor New Curragh Race Series

GAIN Equine Nutrition will sponsor a series of three 2-year-old races at The Curragh billed as the “Champion Collection”, the racecourse announced on Tuesday. The company initially sponsored the G1 Irish St Leger in 2012, switched to sponsoring the G2 Railway S. in 2014 and added the Listed First Flier S. in 2020. The G3 Marble Hill S. will be added to GAIN's sponsorship portfolio for the first time this term. In addition, the winning horse from the GAIN Railway S. will receive a free entry into the G1 Keeneland Phoenix S.

Joanne Hurley, Irish Country Manager, GAIN Equine Nutrition noted, “We are delighted to strengthen our support of The Curragh racecourse this year by launching the Champion Collection series. This partnership has grown over the years and truly reinforces GAIN's commitment to both the racing and bloodstock industries. Compas Stallions to Sponsor Four Races at Naas on Mar. 28

Compas Stallions will sponsor four of the eight races on the season Flat opener at Naas on Sunday, Mar. 28, Naas Racecourse announced on Monday. Micheal Orlandi, founder and owner of Compas Stallions, will also recognise breeders by rewarding the winning breeder of each of the Compas Stallions-sponsored races with a free nomination to the named stallion of the race. A trio of handicaps and a maiden race will be named after four Compas Stallions-Cappella Sansevero (GB), Smooth Daddy, Kuroshio (Aus) and Far Above (Ire).

Orlandi said, “We are delighted to be back sponsoring at Naas racecourse at the start of the 2021 flat season and in the midst of a very busy covering season. Sponsorship is pivotal, as owners are central to our wonderful sport. However, we also want to reward breeders, the backbone of this fantastic industry. Therefore we are providing a nomination to the winning breeder, of the named stallion race. We would like to wish the owners and all the connections, the very best of luck on Sunday.”
