The Thoroughbred Sport Tracker allows users to search by sire, grandsire, dam or damsire, as well as by discipline. With a free web user account, you can upload information about your horse and update regularly with show results, achievements, training milestones, photographs, and more.

The Thoroughbred Sport Tracker is a unique tool that can be used in a variety of ways:

  • Find relatives of your own horse and see what they're doing in second careers
  • Look for particular bloodlines to learn how they perform in particular disciplines

2020 FanDuel Racing Moment of the Year Voting Open

Eleven of the most memorable events from the last 12 months of Thoroughbred racing are up for the 2020 FanDuel Racing NTRA Moment of the Year, which is determined by fan voting and recognized at the upcoming Eclipse Awards. To vote or to view the complete listing of eligible moments, visit the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) website https://www.ntra.com/2020-moment-of-the-year/. Voting can also be executed via Twitter, where every retweet or use of the official hashtag for the moments as presented on the @NTRA account will be counted as one vote. Votes for the poll must be submitted by Jan. 12 at 11:59 p.m. (ET).

The FanDuel Racing-NTRA Moment of the Year, which will be revealed during a virtual ceremony for the 50th Annual Eclipse Awards Jan. 28, 2021, will be presented from Spendthrift Farm in Lexington and streamed on multiple platforms and televised on TVG.

On Track, Off Course Podcast Debuts

On Track, Off Course, a new weekly podcast series from Racing Welfare, features many big names from the racing industry, including Racing Broadcaster of the Year Lydia Hislop. Hislop speaks about the impact the recent death of her mother, Margaret, has had on her personal and professional life. Other speakers include George Baker, Francesca Cumani, and Ralph Beckett. The podcast will cover everything from grief and loneliness to addiction and social media. The first episode is available at www.soundcloud.com/ontrackoffcourse. HKJC Partners With World Horse Racing

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has partnered with digital media brand World Horse Racing, the latter announced on Wednesday. The fifth partner of World Horse Racing alongside Ascot, Breeders’ Cup, Goodwood and the Victoria Racing Club, the Hong Kong Jockey Club reflects the growth of World Horse Racing, which has monthly views in excess of 12 million and over 1.85 million combined followers. There are 12 Group 1 races and two festivals that the HKJC brings to the table.

“The vision of HKJC is always on world class racing, something we advocated at the 2018 Asian Racing Conference and we feel is an important initiative to broaden the fan base regionally and globally,” said HKJC Chief Executive Officer Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges. “We join a strong group of partners which are aligned on positioning racing as a global brand to develop our future growth, health and success as a world-class sport.”
