William Haggas has charge of the homebred, one of the most exciting juveniles to race under the title of The King so far, and she encounters some other choicely-bred middle-distance prospects including Godolphin's Sacred Flower (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), a Charlie Appleby-trained full-sister to Old Persian (GB).

TORITO (GB) ( Kingman {GB}) is the 11th foal out of George Strawbridge's G1 Prix Royal-Oak heroine Montare (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}), which makes him a half-brother to the talented Dubawi (Ire) trio of Journey (GB), Indigo Girl (GB) and Mimikyu (GB). John and Thady Gosden unveil the May-foaled bay in the race won two years ago by another Royal-Oak winner in the ill-fated Scope (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}).

Beylerbeyi Back In Action At Chantilly

Thursday's Observations features 'TDN Rising Star' Beylerbeyi (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}).

BLUESTOCKING (GB) (Camelot {GB}) is the fifth foal out of Juddmonte's G1 Matron S. heroine Emulous (GB) (Dansili {GB}) and another in the silks to start her career with Ralph Beckett. Heading the opposition is another unraced peer in Amo Racing's Tony Montana (GB) (Kingman {GB}), a John and Thady Gosden-trained grandson of the GI E. P. Taylor S. winner Fraulein (GB) (Acatenango {Ger}) who was a 425,000gns Book 1 purchase.

REBEL RED (GB) (Frankel {GB}) is another Ralph Beckett newcomer to catch the eye, being John and Tanya Gunther's homebred full-brother to their G1 St James's Palace S. hero Without Parole (GB) and half to the GI Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile scorer Tamarkuz (Speightstown). Out of a half to Stay Thirsty, the February-foaled chestnut faces nine.

PARTLY CLOUDY (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) is the latest progeny out of the six-times Group 1 winner Moonlight Cloud (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) who represents the soon-to-be-retired Freddy Head stable. George Strawbridge's homebred filly meets Ecurie Ama.zingteam's Huggy Wuggy (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), a Francis-Henri Graffard-trained half-brother to another former Head luminary in Naaqoos (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}).

BEYLERBEYI (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) earned TDN Rising Star status on debut over a furlong further at Deauville last month and is asked to give weight away by Jean-Claude Rouget due to a subsequent penalty. Al Shaqab Racing's homebred faces seven including the Wertheimers' Zoom (Fr) (No Nay Never), an Andre Fabre-trained grandson of the G1 Cheveley Park S. heroine Pas De Reponse (Danzig) in yet another Head family connection.

A daughter of the G1 Pretty Polly S. heroine Promising Lead (GB) (Danehill), the bay who made a striking impression on debut at that Suffolk venue in July meets another blueblood in Shaikh Nasser Al Khalifa and KHK Racing's fellow Newmarket debut winner Pure Dignity (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}). The Roger Varian-trained €2.5-million Arqana Deauville September Sale topper is a half-sister to Sottsass (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), Sistercharlie (Ire) (Myboycharlie {Ire}) and My Sister Nat (Fr) (Acclamation {GB}).

KOVANOF (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is a son of the G3 Prix Cleopatre winner and G1 Prix de Diane third Terrakova (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and therefore a grandson of the brilliant Goldikova (Ire) (Anabaa) who represents the Wertheimer-Carlos Laffon-Parias link. Among his peers is The Aga Khan's Beshtani (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), a Francis-Henri Graffard-trained relative of the G1 Grand Prix de Paris winner Behkabad  (Fr) (Cape Cross {Ire}).

Also in the line-up Is Al Shira'aa Farms' Jannah Rose (Ire) (Frankel {GB}), a Carlos Laffon-Parias-trained half-sister to the G2 Lanwades Stud S. winner Creggs Pipes  (Ire) (Rip Van Winkle {Ire}) who was a €650,000 purchase at Goffs Orby.

Siyouni’s Tahiyra In Scintillating Moyglare Success

It was an emotional afternoon for Dermot Weld on Sunday as the legendary veteran of the Irish training ranks basked in the glory of winning The Curragh's G1 Moyglare Stud S. for the first time since 1987 with the brilliant TDN Rising Star Tahiyra (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}). So closely linked with the sponsors for so long, the master of Rosewell House was winning their signature race with an Aga Khan homebred who had looked so special on her winning debut at Galway July 26. Always travelling supremely well behind the leaders under Chris Hayes, the 100-30 second favourite was unleashed to pick up Ballydoyle's G2 Debutante S. and G3 Albany S. scorer Meditate (Ire) (No Nay Never) inside the final furlong and draw away for an emphatic 2 1/4-length success from that even-money market-leader. There was a yawning 4 1/2-length gap back to the sponsors' Eternal Silence (War Front) in third to underline the sheer quality of the performance.
