With a mandatory payout in place, $2,838,921 in new money cascaded into Sunday's 20 cent Rainbow Pick 6 pool at Santa Anita in Arcadia, Calif., and when combined with a Rainbow 6 jackpot carryover from Saturday of $411,484, it created a total pool of $3,250,405, resulting in 555 winning tickets, each worth $4,649.30.

Sunday's Rainbow Six, which was comprised of races four through nine, got off to an upset beginning as 1-2 favorite Supersonic Flyer finished second to V Bucks, who was off at odds of 7-1.

Beginning with Sunday's fourth race, here are the Rainbow Six winners by number and $2 win mutuel prices:

R4, #4 ($17.20); R5, #1 ($4.00); R6, #2 ($19.00); R7, #1 ($3.60); R8, #4 ($7.20) and R9, #3 ($10.00).

Santa Anita's penultimate Winter/Spring race week will begin on Friday, with first post time for an eight-race card at 1 p.m. PT.

Santa Anita: Pool For Sunday’s Mandatory Rainbow 6 Jackpot Payout Could Reach $3 Million

There will be a mandatory payout in Santa Anita's popular 20 cent Rainbow Pick 6 Jackpot on Sunday and with a carryover of $379,233 heading into Saturday's nine-race program, officials at the Arcadia, Calif., track project Sunday's total Rainbow 6 pool could approach $3 million.

First post time on Sunday, the day after the third and final jewel in racing's Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes, will be at 1 p.m. PT, with the Rainbow 6 set to begin with Sunday's fourth race, which has an assigned post time of 2:41 p.m. PT.

Sunday's entries, along with complete morning line information, are available at santaanita.com.

Additionally, Santa Anita will be open early on Saturday to facilitate simulcast wagering from Belmont Park.  Admission gates will open at 8 a.m., the Club House will open at 9 a.m. and Infield admission gates will open at 10 a.m. First live race post time for a nine-race card on Saturday will also be at 1 p.m.

Although there is still no walk-up admission, Santa Anita is now open to the public on a limited basis by visiting santaanita.com.

For those not attending in person, all of Santa Anita's races are available free of charge at santaanita.com/live and fans can watch and wager via several ADW platforms, including 1ST.com/bet.

Santa Anita Park has announced there will be a mandatory payout in its popular 20 cent Rainbow Pick 6 Jackpot next Sunday, June 6. Officials at the Arcadia, Calif., track project next Sunday's total Rainbow 6 pool could approach $3 million.

Entries for June 6 will be taken this Thursday, June 3.  First post time on June 6, which is the day after the third and final jewel in racing's Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes, will be at 1 p.m. PT, with the Rainbow 6 set to begin with Sunday's fourth race, which has an approximate post time of 2:30 p.m. PT.

$551,699 In Jackpot For Saturday’s Mandatory Payout Of Santa Anita Rainbow Pick 6

With a tremendous 12-race card in prospect and the 84th running of the Grade 1, $750,000 Runhappy Santa Anita Derby headlining a total of six stakes on Saturday, there is a mandatory payout and thus the possibility of a 20 cent Rainbow Pick 6 pool of $5 million according to track officials.

Saturday's Rainbow Six will start with race seven, which has an assigned post time of 3:32 p.m. PT.  After Friday's program there was a carryover into the Rainbow Pick 6 Jackpot of $551,699.

With the Runhappy Santa Anita Derby carded as race eight, it will be leg two in the Rainbow 6 and be broadcast live on NBCSN, with approximate post time set at 4:15 p.m. PT.

In addition to the Runhappy Santa Anita Derby, Saturday's blockbuster program will include the Grade 2, $400,000 Sant Anita Oaks, the Grade 2, $200,000 Royal Heroine, the Grade 3, $100,000 Providencia, the $150,000 Evening Jewel, and the $150,000 Echo Eddie.
