Prime Attraction To Stand At Horsepower Racing Stable In Ontario

Prime Attraction, a Grade 3-winning son of the highly-regarded sire Unbridled's Song, will stand his inaugural season at stud at Horsepower Racing Stable, near Shelburne, Ontario.

The 8-year-old will stand as a registered Ontario sire for an advertised fee of $2,500 Canadian.

Prime Attraction had a long and stellar racing career, highlighted by a win in the Grade 3 Native Diver Stakes at Del Mar. He also placed four times in Grade 2 races, and he finished third in the G1 Pacific Classic.

He made 23 career starts, earning $557,795, and he finished his career by competing in 17 consecutive stakes races, 16 of which were graded.

Unbridled's Song was North America's leading general sire of 2017. Among his many notable offspring, Unbridled's Song sired Grade 1 winners and prominent stallions Arrogate, Midshipman and Liam's Map. His progeny won 730 races and nearly $90 million.

Prime Attraction's first dam, Strawberry Sense, is a half-sister to champion Vindication, Grade 3 winner Scipion, and Grade 2-placed Blackberry Road. Strawberry Sense produced Grade 1-placed stakes winner Kathy's Song and Express Route, who sold to Godolphin for $975,000.

“Prime Attraction is big, attractive, and well-bred,” said Tim Orlando of Silver Fox Stallions. “He had a stellar career. He has no inbreeding in his first five generations and is free of Northern Dancer. He's an excellent option for Ontario breeders, and at $2,500, he represents outstanding value for money.  He is available for inspection by appointment. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to stand such a remarkable horse in Ontario.”
