Wildcards Complete Tattersalls Online December Catalogue

A selection of wildcard entries have been added to the Tattersalls Online December Sale, which opens for bidding at 12 noon on Wednesday, Dec. 14 and closes from 12 noon on Thursday, Dec. 15.

The additional entries are highlighted by a trio of Point-to-Point performers from Sunday's meeting at Borris House. Colin Bowe's Milestone Stables present Clody Flyer, an impressive winner of the Five-Year-Old Gelding's Maiden by two and a half lengths. The son of Sholokhov comes from the family of multiple Grade 1 winner Nil Desperandum. Finishing second was debutante Grass's Jet who will be offered by Johnny Kinsella's Fairview Stables. Also entered in the sale is Doonbeg Don who placed second on his debut in the Four-Year-Old Gelding's Maiden for Tom Keating.

Another promising Point-to-Pointer to be added to the catalogue is Paul Gilligan's Lincoln Burrows. The son of Dylan Thomas finished third at Quakerstown behind What's Up Darling, who subsequently sold at the Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale for £280,000 to Gordon Elliott Racing.

The supplementary entries are in addition to a strong catalogue which includes a breeding right to phenomenal young sire Havana Grey, a half-sister to Classic winner Cachet, and an own sister to Group 1 Caulfield Cup winner Durston.

November Sale Catalogue Unveiled By Tattersalls Ascot

The Tattersalls Ascot November Sale catalogue, featuring 104 lots on the Flat and over jumps, is now online. Slated for Nov. 3, the sale comprises 35 fillies and mares in/out of training, 52 colts and geldings in/out of training, 11 stores, five yearlings and one point-to-pointer. Trainers under both codes have supported the sale, including Cullentra House Stables, Clarehaven Stables, East Everleigh Stables, Godolphin, Jane Chapple-Hyam, Lodge Hill Stables, Middleham Park Racing, Park House Stables, Urloxhey Farm, and WH Bloodstock. Supplementary lots will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 28.

Seven Wildcards Added To Tattersalls Ascot July Catalogue

A total of seven wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls Ascot July Sale on July 12. Leading the new additions is Resilience (GB) (Aclaim {Ire}) (lot 55), who is a five-time winner from Mill House Racing Ltd. and is rated 85. Lot 89, the 5-year-old gelding Jack The Savage (GB) (Passing Glance {GB}), is also entered on the back of a debut victory in a Worcester bumper on July 4 from Laura Horsfall Racing. The catalogue now boasts 100 lots, with 27 fillies/mares in/out-of-training, 57 colts/geldings in/out-of-training, four point-to-pointers and 12 store horses.

Classy Bedouin’s Story Leads The Tattersalls Ascot July Catalogue

The catalogue for the Tattersalls Ascot July Sale features 93 lots led by classy handicap horse Bedouin's Story (GB) (Farhh {GB}) (lot 71) from the Godolphin draft. Scheduled for July 12, the sale is divided between 35 fillies and mares in and out of training, 54 colts and geldings in and out of training, four point-to-pointers and a dozen store horses. A 6-year-old gelding, the bay captured the Cambridgeshire Heritage H. in 2021 and is rated 109.

Also from the Godolphin draft, Epic Hero (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) (lot 70) is another horse that catches the eye. Placed at Group 3 level, he was fourth in the G1 Dubai Turf in his latest start.

Many prominent owners/trainers are represented, and the sale includes consignments from Beckhampton House Stables, Cullentra House Stables, East Everleigh Stables, Faringdon Place Stables, Gainsborough Throughbreds, Godolphin, Hambleton Lodge Stables, Lodge Hill Stables, Park House Stables, Pond House Stables, Saxon Gate, Seven Barrows, Shade Oak Stud and West Ilsley Stables.
