Sunday's Pick 6 will be boosted by a $57,735 carryover as the multi-race wager went unsolved on Saturday at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $916 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Saturday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 5 when trainer Michelle Nevin and Kendrick Carmouche teamed up to win a seven-furlong turf allowance for New York-bred fillies and mares with Show Me the Honey [No. 4, $14.20].

Trainer Chad Brown earned his fifth victory in the $200,000 Grade 2 Sands Point [Race 6] when Head of Plains Partners homebred Fluffy Socks [No. 7, $10.20] rallied to an impressive score under jockey Joel Rosario.

Apprentice rider Omar Hernandez Moreno piloted Hoopla [No. 5, $5.80] to his second career victory in Race 7 for trainer Bruce Brown.

Brown and Rosario teamed up for victory once more in Race 8 when Gabby Squared [No. 7, $6.00] won by three lengths over the inner turf for a $30,000 tag.

Happy Sophia [No. 5, $30.00] lit up the tote board in the penultimate leg of the sequence under veteran rider Mike Luzzi for trainer Randi Persaud.

Closing out the sequence in Race 10, Three Diamonds Farm's Lemon Taffy [No. 5, $10.20] made her seventh career start a winning one for trainer Mike Maker.

Featuring a $1 bet minimum and 15 percent takeout, the Pick 6 wager requires bettors to select the first-place finisher of six designated races on the card. A total of 75 percent of the full pool, minus takeout, will be distributed to bettors who select the first-place finisher of all six races. A consolation payout of 25 percent of the net pool will be distributed to tickets selecting 5-of-6 winners.

Sunday's Pick 6 kicks off in Race 4 at 2:11 p.m. Eastern and includes the $150,000 Floral Park for fillies and mares going six furlongs over the inner turf. First post on the 9-race card is 12:35 p.m.

Mandatory Pick 6 Payout Scheduled For Saturday’s West Virginia Breeders’ Classics Card

In addition to nine races worth $1 million in purses featuring the top West Virginia-breds in training, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races will also be offering a mandatory payout of the track's Pick 6 carryover on Saturday's West Virginia Breeders' Classics XXXV card.

The Charles Town 6-12 carryover currently stands at $72,345 with 3 cards remaining prior to its distribution.  The Charles Town 6-12 is a jackpot style Pick 6 covering the final six races on each Charles Town card and carries a low 12-percent takeout.

Due to the low takeout and size of the carryover, the mandatory payouts of the Charles Town 6-12 have typically resulted in a players' advantage of in upwards of 13 percent paid out on top of the gross pool on the night of the distribution.

The first race on Saturday's West Virginia Breeders' Classics program is slated for 7:00 P.M EST, with the featured $300,000 West Virginia Breeders Classic going off as Race 8 and carrying a tentative post time of 10:32 P.M.

Two-Day Breeders’ Cup Challenge Pick 6 Launches This Weekend

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will host a two-day Breeders' Cup Challenge Pick 6 beginning Saturday, Oct. 2 and concluding on Sunday, Oct. 3 featuring select races from the Breeders' Cup Challenge Series presented by America's Best Racing from Belmont Park and Santa Anita Park.

The two-day Breeders' Cup Challenge Series Pick 6 will then return on Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 with races to be determined from Belmont Park and Keeneland's Fall Stars weekend.

The Breeders' Cup Challenge Series consists of the best races from around the world and awards each winner an automatic and free entry into the Breeders' Cup World Championships slated for Nov. 5-6 at Del Mar.

“Breeders' Cup is always looking for new ways to engage with our fans across the country and the 'Challenge Pick 6' is a great way to provide them an opportunity to win big surrounding some of the final Challenge Series races of the year,” said Justin McDonald, SVP Marketing at Breeders' Cup. “Thanks to NYRA, Keeneland and Santa Anita for coming together to create these fun wagering opportunities.”

The minimum bet for the multi-track, multi-race wager is $1 and will feature a low 15 percent takeout and mandatory payout of the net pool. Wagering on the Breeders' Cup Challenge Pick 6 is available on ADW platforms and at simulcast facilities across the country.

The inaugural Breeders' Cup Challenge Pick 6 will kick off on Saturday, October 2 at Belmont Park with the Grade 1, $500,000 Champagne, a one-turn mile for 2-year-olds offering a “Win and You're In” berth to the Grade 1, $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile on November 5.

The Pick 6 will also feature a trio of events from Santa Anita on October 2 led by the Grade 1, $300,000 Awesome Again [Classic], a nine-furlong test for 3-year-olds and up; the Grade 1, $300,000 Rodeo Drive [Filly and Mare Turf] at 10-furlongs on turf for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up; and the Grade 2, $200,000 Santa Anita Sprint Championship [Sprint], a six-furlong event for 3-year-olds and up.

The Breeders' Cup Challenge Pick 6 sequence will conclude on Sunday with the 74th running of the Grade 1, $400,000 Frizette [Juvenile Fillies], a one-turn mile for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont; and the Grade 2, $200,000 Zenyatta [Distaff], a 1 1/16-mile test on the main track for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up from Santa Anita.

The Pick 6 on Thursday will be bolstered by a $74,372 carryover as the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $3,344 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday's sequence kicked off in Race 5 with the Antonio Arriaga-trained Quantitativbreezin [No. 9, $6.70] prevailing in a 6 1/2-furlong claiming sprint for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up on the main track. Jose Ortiz engineered the winning trip.

Geno [No. 3, $21.80] graduated in a six-furlong Widener turf sprint for state-bred juveniles in Race 6 under Hall of Famer John Velazquez for trainer David Donk; and the Rudy Rodriguez-conditioned Scuttlebuzz [No. 11, $6.60] prevailed under Jose Lezcano in Race 7, a six-furlong optional-claimer on the inner turf for state-breds 3-years-old and up.

Fight On Lucy [No. 3, $32.80], trained by Pat Kelly, rallied to victory in Race 8 under Benjamin Hernandez in a seven-furlong optional-claiming sprint for state-bred fillies and mares 3-years-old and up, but the biggest price in the sequence came in the featured $150,000 Pebbles when Spanish Loveaffair [No. 11, $63] scored in the one-mile Widener turf test for sophomore fillies under Junior Alvarado for Hall of Famer Mark Casse.

With the Pick 6 carryover already guaranteed, Tallis [No. 12, $7.50] outdueled My Boy Colton [No. 6] to win the Race 10 finale – a 1 1/16-mile maiden claimer for 3-year-olds and up on the inner turf. Velazquez rode the winner for Hall of Famer Todd Pletcher.
