Pascal Bary trainee LADY INVINCIBLE (FR) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) is the second of three foals out of a half-sister to MG1SW sire Shamardal (Giant's Causeway). The May-foaled bay is a €300,000 Arqana August graduate, whose year-younger half-brother by Siyouni (Fr) was the highest-priced colt when knocked down for €2.2 million at this month's renewal of that sale. Eight-strong opposition includes Al Shaqab Racing's homebred Silham (Ire) (Wootton Bassett {GB}), who is kin to two stakes performers out of GI Madison S. heroine Shotgun Gulch (Gulch), representing the Jean-Claude Rouget stable; and His Highness The Aga Khan's Candala (Fr) (Frankel {GB}), who is a Francis-Henri Graffard-trained daughter of MGSW G1 Prix Vermeille second Candarliya (Fr) (Dalakhani {Ire}).

ORTELIUS (Justify), a $1.1-million Keeneland September purchase by M V Magnier, is out of a half to the five-times Grade I-winning Rushing Fall (More Than Ready) and therefore a big deal newcomer for the Ballydoyle stable which has won this maiden for the last nine years. One of those who helped that tally was the future 2000 Guineas hero Saxon Warrior (Jpn), while others include the subsequent group winners Cairo (Ire) (Quality Road), Mogul (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), Yucatan (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Ol' Man River (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}). Also from Rosegreen is the debut fifth House Of Aviz (Uncle Mo), a full-brother to the GIII Santa Ysabel S. scorer and GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and GI Starlet S. runner-up Donna Veloce and grandson of the 1999 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies heroine Cash Run (Seeking The Gold).

A half-sister to Dark Angel's celebrated sprinter Battaash (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) and dual group winner and G1 Middle Park S. runner-up The Antarctic (Ire), she faces six rivals and two previous winners on this keenly-anticipated bow.

NATIONAL INTEREST (GB) (Kingman {GB}) is an eyecatcher in this valuable Arqana Series Des Poulains for unraced colts and geldings who went through the ring at the Arqana Yearlings Sales in 2022 and the Breeze Up in May. Trained by William Haggas for Victorious Racing, the €800,000 Arqana August sensation is a half-brother to the GIII Franklin-Simpson S. winner and G2 Coventry S.-placed Guildsman  (Fr) (Wootton Bassett {GB}) from the family of the high-class Darjina (Fr) (Zamindar) and Almanzor (Fr).

Charlie Appleby launches him in the race won two years ago by Triple Time (Ire) (Frankel {GB}).

QIRAT (GB) (Showcasing {GB}) debuts for Juddmonte and Ralph Beckett and is a half-brother to the recent G1 Irish Oaks runner-up Bluestocking (GB) (Camelot {GB}) and son of the G1 Matron S. heroine Emulous (GB) (Dansili {GB}). He meets Phil Cunningham's fellow newcomer Fool's Gold (Ire) (Galileo Gold {GB}), a Richard Spencer-trained half-brother to last year's G1 Prix de l'Abbaye heroine The Platinum Queen (Ire) (Cotai Glory {GB}).

BREAK THE BANK (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) cost King Power Racing 350,000gns at the Book 1 Sale, due largely to the fact that he is a half-brother to their five-times Group 2 winner Beat The Bank (GB) (Paco Boy {Ire}). Like that classy and tough miler and the G3 Chipchase S. scorer Chil Chil (GB) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}) and listed scorer Auria (GB) (Muhaarar {GB}), he is under the care of Andrew Balding whose 2-year-olds seem to be above-average on recent evidence. Among the other newcomers in a fascinating contest is Amo Racing's €360,000 Goffs Orby purchase Monsieur Fudge (GB) (Frankel {GB}), a Richard Hannon-trained son of the GI E. P. Taylor S. heroine Miss Keller (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}).
