ECORO DIANA (f, 2, More Than Ready–Nutcracker Suite {Ire}, by Fastnet Rock {Aus}), a $75,000 Keeneland September purchase, improved into a $200,000 OBS March juvenile after breezing her eighth of a mile in :9 4/5. Bred on the enormously successful cross of this late sire over Danehill-line mares, the May 10 foal is out of a daughter of multiple Group 3 winner Dietrich (Storm Cat), the dam of Irish champion Beauty Bright (Ire) (Danehill) and MSW/G1SP Aloft (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). PINK SOLEIL (c, 2, American Pharoah–Stoweshoe, by Flatter) is out of a dual stakes-winning full-sister to the late 'TDN Rising Star' and GISW Taris, the dam of GSW King Fury (Curlin); and out of a half to SW & MGSP Theatre Star (War Front). Pink Soleil cost trainer Hideyuki Mori $200,000 at KEESEP last fall and looks to become the 27th winner from 32 starters in Japan for his sire. Pink Soleil's Curlin half-brother is consigned by Eaton Sales as hip 461 at KEESEP next week B-Doug & Felicia Branham (KY)

ISAIAS (c, 2, California Chrome–Above Heaven, by Mr. Greeley) is out of an unraced daughter of GI Alabama S. winner Lady Joanne (Orientate), who was acquired by Dr. Masatake Iida for $320,000 at KEENOV in 2013 and was RNAd for $575,000 at Fasig-Tipton November the following fall. Lady Joanne, who was purchased by Iida for $1.6-million in foal to Tiznow at FTKNOV in 2009, is a half-sister to GI Preakness S. hero Shackleford (Forestry) and MGSWs Baghdaria (Royal Academy) and Afleeting Lady (Afleet Alex), among others. RYUNO RAFALE (JPN) (c, 2, Blame–All Flags Flying, by War Front) is the first Japanese-foaled produce for his dam, a daughter of GI E.P. Taylor S. winner Volga (Ire) (Caerleon), who was acquired by JS Company with this colt in utero for $100,000 at KEENOV in 2019. The late March foal was sent through the ring a bit more than three months after his birth, realizing a final bid of $139,807 at the JRHA Select Sale. The colt's champion third dam Verveine (Lear Fan) dropped G1 Hong Kong Vase heroine Vallee Enchantee (Fr) (Peintre Celebre). B-Tobino Bokujo

DANON PULSE (JPN) (c, 3, Malibu Moon–Curlin Hawk, by Curlin) was acquired for $800K in utero at Keeneland November in 2017 a little more than a month after the dam's foal of 2015, Seabhac (Scat Daddy), won the GIII Pilgrim S. on the turf at Belmont Park. Unplaced in a single racetrack appearance, Curlin Hawk–herself a $500K KEESEP yearling–is a half-sister to champion and multiple Classic winner Afleet Alex (Northern Afleet) and to his SW & MGSP full-brother Unforgettable Max. 3rd-TOK, ¥9,680,000 ($88k), Maiden, 3yo, 1600m
Darby Dan's overachieving Dialed In is represented by his first Japanese starter in the form of North Hills Co. Ltd.'s NIL ADMIRARI (c, 3, –Into Reality, by Untuttable). A half-brother to the stakes-winning Meadowood (Harlan's Holiday), the March-foaled bay cost $30K at KEENOV in 2018 before maturing into a $130K purchase at the Fasig-Tipton July sale the next summer. One of only five horses to go a quarter-mile in :20 3/5 (bullet was :20 2/5 for American Pharoah's Kyoto debut-winning daughter Russian Samovar), Nil Admirari was hammered down for $275K at last year's OBS March Sale, making him the most expensive colt from that crop. ALIENOR (JPN) (f, 3, Nyquist–Land Over Sea, by Bellamy Road) was well-beaten trying the local turf course on her career debut last November, but she shaped as a different proposition altogether when switching to the dirt at Niigata Apr. 18, running out a five-length winner. Her dam, a half-sister to the hard-knocking MGSW $3.2-million winner War Story (Northern Afleet), won the 2016 GII TwinSpires.com Fair Grounds Oaks and was runner-up in that year's GI Longines Kentucky Oaks before selling for $1.3 million with this filly in utero at FTKNOV in 2017. FIFTY CHEVY (c, 2, Tapit–Stopchargingmaria, by Tale of the Cat) attracted a final bid of $825K from Yuji Hasegawa last fall, the same owner who gave $1.5 million for Vanishing Point, a full-brother to two-time Eclipse Award winner Unique Bella, at the same auction 12 months prior. Winner of the 2014 GI CCA Oaks and GI Alabama S. for owner Mike Repole, Stopchargingmaria was a $3.15-million buyback at that year's FTKNOV sale before being purchased privately by Louise and Kiki Courtelis' Town and Country Farms. Upset winner of the 2015 GI Breeders' Cup Distaff, the mare remained in training through her 5-year-old season and was knocked down to Three Chimneys for $2.8 million at FTKNOV in 2016. She was most recently acquired by Whisper Hill Farm for $4.4 million with this foal in utero at the 2018 FTKNOV sale. Three-year-old filly Stillchargingmaria (Pioneerof the Nile), a $1.9m graduate of FTKNOV and her dam's first produce, won her maiden at Lone Star Park this past April. A $130K Keeneland September purchase, the chestnut is out of a half-sister to MSW Notoriously (Cherokee Run), SW Cherokee Echo (Cherokee Run) and GISP Smarty's Echo (Smarty Jones). 11th-CKO, Heian S.-G3, ¥68,000,000 ($625k), 4yo/up, 1900m
AMERICAN SEED (c, 4, Tapit–Sweet Talker, by Stormin Fever) made giant strides once switched to the dirt last fall, winning three starts by a combined 17 lengths, but he stubbed his toe when a distant 14th as the 2-5 favorite in the G3 March S. at Nakayama. The $825K KEESEP yearling, whose dam was a Grade I winner on the turf in 2005 before fetching $1.15 million at KEENOV, was rumored to have lost a shoe in the running and he gets Christophe Lemaire back in the saddle Saturday. American Seed is a full-brother to SW & GSP Sweet Tapper; and to the dam of recent GII Edgewood S. runner-up Barista (Medaglia d'Oro); and a half to GSP Perregaux (Distorted Humor). The $1.5-million Keeneland September grad is out of the 2010 GI Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic winner–acquired by Mandy Pope's Whisper Hill Farm for $3.8 million in foal to Tapit at KEENOV in 2016–and second dam Queenie Belle (Bertrando) was a two-time winner at the graded level. MOON BEAD (JPN) (f, 3, American Pharoah–Evening Jewel, by Northern Afleet) debuted victoriously in a 1400-meter newcomers' event on the turf last October (see below, gate 18), but was unplaced in two subsequent tries and returns from a four-month break to try the dirt for the first time. The filly's dam, a Grade I winner on turf and synthetic, went within a pixel of upsetting the 2010 GI Kentucky Oaks and was sold for $950K in foal to Pioneerof the Nile at KEENOV in 2016. The dam of the SP Bernadiva (Bernardini), Evening Jewel is a half-sister to Japanese SW Deep Jewelry (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}) and to the dam of GISW Denman's Call (Northern Afleet) and GSP Torosay (Goldencents). DYLAN'S SONG (c, 4, Summer Front–Poetic Riches, by Songandaprayer) overcame a world of trouble to break his maiden at second asking right around this time last year and was unplaced in his lone appearance since, a six-furlong allowance at Nakayama Jan. 17. Produced by a half-sister to MGSP Hard Seven (Rock Hard Ten), Dylan's Song was a $47K short yearling at KEEJAN in 2018 and was bought back for $75K at KEESEP before realizing $130K at OBS March in 2019. SATONO MUSTANG (c, 3, Mineshaft–Mare and Cher, by Old Fashioned) won his maiden second time out at this track last November and tacked on a first-level allowance in February (see below, gate 6), but may have struggled with a rain-affected track when ninth at Chukyo Mar. 13. A $25K KEESEP yearling turned $150K OBSMAR breezer, the dark bay is out of a winning half-sister to SW & MGSP Fight On (Into Mischief) and GSP Two Weeks Off (Harlan's Holiday). REFRAME (f, 3, American Pharoah–Careless Jewel, by Tapit) became an instant Internet sensation with a dramatic first-out victory last July (see below, gate 15) and made it two straight with an allowance score in October. Unplaced, but not disgraced in three tries at group level, the $410K KEESEP purchase switches to the dirt for the first time and has the license to do so on pedigree, as her free-running dam was a three-time GSW on the surface, including the GI Alabama S. in 2009.
