2023 Irish National Stud Course Begins With 27 Trainees

A total of 27 students arrived at the Irish National Stud to begin the 2023 Thoroughbred Breeding Management course earlier this week. The six-month course will participate in a wide variety of activities, practical training and lectures which will provide a solid foundation for their progression in the Thoroughbred industry.

Eight countries are represented, and the trainees are as follows: Sean Berns (Ireland), Ailish Sinnott (Ireland), Faustine Otero-Chinot (France), Orla Queally (Ireland), Annelie Rodde (Germany), Alice Jeffries (New Zealand), Georgina Macintyre (Australia), Morgan Wilks (New Zealand), Darcie Murray (Ireland), Emma Hunter (Ireland), Dayna Walsh (UK), Aoife Boland (Ireland), Hilda Ntlateng (South Africa), Julia Coenen (France), Maël Thilbault (France), Lachlan Bruce (Australia), Thomas Connolly (Ireland), Charles Shanahan (Ireland), William Macdonald (Australia), Scott Innes (Scotland), Jarrod Robinson (Australia), Gerrard Donworth (Ireland), Brian Banahan (USA), Ciaran Phelan (Ireland), Rory Woods (Ireland), Ciara Russell (Ireland), and Robert Acheson (Ireland).

2023 INS Class Announced

A total of 27 students from eight countries will take part in the 2023 Irish National Stud Thoroughbred Breeding Management Course, which begins in mid-January next year.

The programme is a unique combination of practical training, classroom lectures, cultural immersion, personal and professional development which equips students with first-hand and a well-rounded understanding of the Thoroughbred industry. Making up the Class of 2023 are: Robert Acheson (Ireland), Brian Banahan (USA), Sean Berns (Ireland), Aoife Boland (Ireland), Julia Coenen (France), Thomas Connolly (Ireland), Gerard Donworth (Ireland), Emma Hunter (Ireland), Scott Innes (Scotland), William Macdonald (Australia), Georgina Macintyre (Australia), Darcie Murray (Ireland), Hilda Ntlatleng (South Africa), Faustine Otero-Chinot (France), Ciaran Phelan (Ireland), Orla Queally (Ireland), Annelie Rodde (Germany), Charles Shanahan (Ireland), Ailish Sinnott (Ireland), Maël Thilbault (France), Dayna Walsh (UK), Rory Woods (Ireland) Lachlan Bruce (Australia) recipient of the HTBA Scholarship, Jarrod Robinson (Australia) recipient of the TBA scholarship, Ciara Russell (Ireland) recipient of the Gerry Dilger Equine Scholarship, and Alice Jeffries (New Zealand) and Morgan Wilks (New Zealand) recipients of the NZTBA Scholarship.

Godolphin Flying Start Class Of 2024 Begins In Ireland

The 2022-2024 Godolphin Flying Start trainees started their course work at Kildangan Stud in Ireland on Aug. 15. Hailing from five different countries, the trainees are as follows:
