There's a $91,481.74 Stronach 5 carryover awaiting bettors this Black Friday.

The popular wager, with an industry-low 12-percent takeout, will feature three races from Laurel Park and two from Gulfstream Park West. The five-race sequence will kick off at approximately 3:20 with the seventh race from Laurel Park.

$12.20 Winner Highest Price In $12,804 Stronach 5 Payout

The Stronach 5 continued rewarding bettors with a strong return in investment when Friday's multi-race, multi-track wager returned $12,804.50.

Friday's Stronach 5 featured three races from Laurel Park, two from Gulfstream Park, a $100,000 guaranteed pool and an industry-low 12-percent takeout.

The Stronach 5 began with Laurel's seventh race and 12 fillies and mares going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. The winner was John Gardiner's and Kingdom Bloodstock Inc.'s More or Less, who returned $10.40.

Laurel's eighth race, a $55,000 allowance event at a mile featuring stakes winners Alwaysmining and Cordmaker, was won by Harper's First Ride ($7). The winner and second-place finisher Tybalt are both trained by Claudio Gonzalez.

Gulfsream's 10th race, a maiden special weight event for 3-year-olds and up at a mile on the turf, served as the fourth leg of the Stronach 5 and it was won by Zayat Stables LLC's Salow ($12), a son of Distorted Humor making his debut for trainer Wesley Ward and jockey Eduardo Nunez. The sequence ended with Cannon's Roar ($12.20) winning Laurel's ninth race.

17 Winning Tickets Pay $7,039.80 In Stronach 5

Friday's Stronach 5, featuring a $100,000 guaranteed pool and industry-low 12-percent takeout, had 17 winning tickets each worth a generous $7,039.80.

The sequence kicked off with Gulfstream's eighth race and a $15.60 winner in Fujairah, the longest price of the Stronach 5, and ended with Santa Anita's third race and 6-5 favorite Tiberius Mercurius holding off War Path for the victory.  Tiberius Mercurius was the shortest price of the day.

Friday’s Low Takeout Stronach 5 Averages 11-Plus Runners Per Race

There will be lots of opportunity to make a score in Friday's Stronach 5 with large, competitive fields featuring races from Gulfstream Park in Florida, Laurel Park in Maryland and Santa Anita Park in Southern California.

The Stronach 5 will feature a $100,000 guaranteed pool and an industry-low 12-percent takeout.

Gulfstream's eighth race kicks off the Stronach 5 at 3:41 p.m. with a dozen allowance optional claiming 3-year-old fillies going five furlongs on the turf. The race includes lightly-raced Solid as a Rock and Tony's Rose and stakes-placed Song River.

Laurel's seventh and eighth races in the Stronach 5 – allowance optional claimers on the main track – once again have attracted full fields with great value. Favored Bustoff is 9-2 in the seventh race and favored Runaway Lute is 7-2 in the eighth race.

Santa Anita's third race will be the final leg of the sequence, a mile event on the turf for 3-year-olds and up including favored Tiberius Mercurius, a disqualified winner in his last, and two starters from the barn of Bob Baffert.
