Diamond B Farm Earns $250,000 Bonus For First Stakes Winner By Peace And Justice

When Like A Saltshaker crossed the wire in this year's Fitz Dixon, Jr. Memorial Juvenile Stakes at Presque Isle Downs, he made his breeders a quarter of a million dollars richer.

Diamond B Farm, owned by Glenn and Becky Brok, were recently awarded the $250,000 bonus as the breeders of the first stakes winner by Peace And Justice.

According to the stipulations, $250,000 was awarded to the first stakes winner of a non-restricted race from the first-crop of Peace And Justice.

Peace And Justice, the fastest son of sire of sires War Front standing in Pennsylvania, has three wins and five placings from the nine starters in his first-crop.

He will stand for $3,500 LFSN at Blackstone Farm in Pine Grove, Pa., in 2021 and will be available for inspection at the Blackstone Farm Stallion Show on Jan. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Peace and Justice Relocating to Blackstone Farm

Peace and Justice (War Front) will relocate to Blackstone Farm in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, for the 2021 breeding season. He will stand for $3,500 LFSN.

Peace And Justice is represented by first-crop 2-year-olds of this year. His top runners include Like a Saltshaker, winner of the Fitz Dixon, Jr. Memorial Juvenile S. and runner-up in the Awad S. at Belmont.

Out of the winning Smart Strike mare Strike the Sky, Peace and Justice is a half-brother to GSW Hudson Steele (Johannesburg).

Peace and Justice Gets His First Winner at Presque Isle

Like a Saltshaker (Peace and Justice) became the first winner for his freshman sire by War Front with an authoritative victory against open company at Presque Isle Tuesday. Fourth when unveiled at this oval Sept. 10, he worked a bullet half-mile in :46 4/5 here Sept. 22 in company with his stablemate Spankhurst (Speightster), who debuted in this event. Receiving Lasix for the first time in this second attempt, the PA-bred was bet down to 2-1 favoritism from an 8-1 morning-line quote. Breaking on top, the bay he was pressed through an opening quarter in :22.37 and a half in :45.18. Shaking free of his foes in the lane, Like a Saltshaker charged clear with ease to graduate by 3 1/4 lengths. Summerfest (Summer Front) was the runner-up. The winner is the first foal out of With Sprinkles, who produced a filly by Uptowncharlybrown in 2019 and a colt by that same sire this year. She was bred back to Boisterous.
