Keeneland Library to Host Derby Handicapping Event with Tom Leach, Announces Library Lecture Series

Keeneland Library will hold a handicapping event with Keeneland racing analyst Tom Leach on April 29 to discuss contenders for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve and the supporting undercard of the historic race to be run three days later. The program kicks off the Library’s spring-summer activities, which will continue with the popular library lecture series to spotlight legendary racing announcer Tom Durkin; champion racehorses A.P. Indy, Cody’s Wish and Holy Bull; and a memorable journey on a retired racehorse by an acclaimed author.

Women in Racing: ‘Traditionalist’ Shannon Arvin Leading Keeneland to Record Heights

Keeneland President and Chief Executive Officer Shannon Arvin was working with Chief Financial Officer Hunter Stout last autumn when he mentioned in passing that he would have to miss his son’s first T-Ball game.
