Officials at Roberts Communications Network, the leading worldwide video distribution and wagering data communications services provider for the racing industry, has announced that its Senior Vice President Joe Hill is departing the company to pursue new opportunities.
Over the course of his 22-year tenure at RCN, Hill oversaw the company’s terrestrial data communications and video networks, greatly expanding its reach on a global scale.
“It goes without saying that I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to help build RCN into what it is today and being able to innovate and collaborate with so many talented individuals,” said Hill. “In particular, I owe [RCN President and CEO] Todd Roberts much more than a simple thank you. He allowed me to run with opportunities and technology at a pace that simply wouldn’t exist within other organizations.”
Hill will remain as a member of the RCN Board of Directors, supplying consulting as needed.
Added Roberts: “I am proud to call Joe Hill both a trusted business partner and incredible friend. He played an essential and instrumental role in helping build this company into what we have become. While we will miss having Joe around on a daily basis, we are excited that he will remain a part of our organization in a different role and help pave our future path.”
