‘Breakfast At The Breeders’ Cup Returns To TVG Oct. 29

As the countdown to the Breeders' Cup World Championships on Nov. 5-6 from Del Mar begins, the popular morning workout show “Breakfast at the Breeders' Cup” returns on Friday, Oct. 29 on TVG, America's horse racing network.

The show will run from Friday, Oct. 29 through Thursday, Nov. 4 and air from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET daily. It will feature contenders working as well as the latest news and exclusive behind the scenes coverage. Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Christina Blacker, Caton Bredar, Michelle Yu, Mike Joyce, Scott Hazelton and Joaquin Jaime will be live on-site at Del Mar, Santa Anita, Keeneland and Churchill Downs.

TVG will also be premiering several new features showcasing Distaff contender Letruska as well as George Leonard and Kirk and Judy Robison, the owners of Jackie's Warrior who will compete in the Sprint. There will also be a feature on Tiznow commemorating the 20th anniversary of his triumph in the 2001 Breeders' Cup Classic.

The post position draw will be held on Monday, Nov. 1 and will air from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET. Todd Schrupp, Simon Bray, Caleb Keller and Joaquin Jaime will be on site with pre-coverage of the Breeders' Cup post position draw which will be hosted by Nick Luck and Britney Eurton.

The Players' Show, a live, wagering-focused telecast, will return on Nov. 5 and 6 and will be available to stream on the WatchTVG app. The Players' Show will also be simulcast at tracks, simulcast centers and off-track betting venues around the world.

No Change In Top Three Of NTRA Thoroughbred Poll; Knicks Go Leads Two Weeks Ahead Of Breeders’ Cup

There was no change in the top three positions in this week's NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll as Korea Racing Stable's 5-year-old horse Knicks Go retained his top ranking for the twelfth consecutive week in the NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll with 23 first place votes and 339 points. Knicks Go is expected to be sent off the favorite in the $6 million Longines Breeders' Cup Classic on Nov. 6 at Del Mar.

St. George Stable's 5-year-old mare Letruska remained in second place in the poll with six first place votes and 313 points. Trained by Fausto Gutierrez, Letruska is a leading contender for the Grade 1, $2 million Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff.

Godolphin's 3-year-old standout colt Essential Quality, who like Knicks Go is trained by 2020 Eclipse Award-winning trainer Brad Cox, remained in third place in this week's poll with seven first place votes and 299 points. Essential Quality also is being pointed for the Breeders' Cup Classic.

The lone change in this week's poll saw Roadrunner Racing, William Strauss, Boat Racing and Gainesway Stable's Hot Rod Charlie, another leading Classic contender, jump one spot to fourth place in this week's poll with 163 points. Kirk and Judy Robison's Jackie's Warrior, a leading contender for the Grade 1, $2,000,000 Qatar Racing Breeders' Cup Sprint, fell to fifth place in the voting with 159 points.

Michael Lund Petersen's Gamine, who is being pointed for the Grade 1, $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint, was sixth in the poll with 130 points. Zedan Racing Stable's Breeders' Cup Classic hopeful, Medina Spirit (122 points), remained in seventh-place, followed by Bruce Lunsford's Art Collector (92 points), George Hall's Max Player (83 points) and Klaravich Stable's Domestic Spending (70 points).

Knicks Go On Top Of NTRA Poll For 11th Consecutive Week

There were no other changes in this week's rankings with Bruce Lunsford's Art Collector (95 points), George Hall's Max Player (83 points) and Klaravich Stable's Domestic Spending (68 points) rounding out the top 10.

Hot Rod Charlie Vaults To Seventh In NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll

Roadrunner Racing, William Strauss, Boat Racing, and Gainesway Stable's Hot Rod Charlie, who secured his first Grade 1 victory in the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby at Parx on Saturday, vaulted from twelfth place to seventh in this week's NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll.

Trained by Doug O'Neill, Hot Rod Charlie is expected to make his next start in the Grade 1, $6 million Breeders' Cup Longines Classic at Del Mar on Nov. 6.

Korea Racing Authority's 5-year-old Knicks Go retained his No. 1 rating in the NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll for the eighth straight week.

Jackie's Warrior, winner of Saturday's Grade 3, $300,000 Gallant Bob Stakes at Parx, moved from eighth to sixth in this week's poll. Owned by Kirk and Judy Robison, Jackie's Warrior is being pointed for the TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint.
