CDI-Owned Presque Isle Downs Partners With Bet365 For Online Sports Betting In Pennsylvania

Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: CHDN) announced Monday that Presque Isle Downs & Casino (“Presque Isle”), the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a multi-year agreement with a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of bet365 Group Ltd (“bet365″) for online sports betting and iGaming market access in Pennsylvania, subject to necessary regulatory approvals.

“We are pleased to partner with a global leader in the online gaming industry,” said Bill Carstanjen, CEO of CDI. “Our relationship with bet365 enables us to maximize the value of our company's sports betting and iGaming market access in Pennsylvania.”

The bet365 agreement is consistent with CDI's strategy to exit the online sports and casino business, monetize the Company's online sports and iGaming market access rights and remain focused on growing the TwinSpires online horseracing wagering business.

“Off the heels of our launch in Ohio, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Churchill Downs Incorporated,” a bet365 spokesperson said. “Once live, the world's favorite online sports betting brand will be available to sports fans in Pennsylvania, offering fantastic site features, including Bet Boosts, Same Game Parlay, Cash Out and Edit Bet, on top of our market-leading sign-up offer.”

Gulfstream Park: Rainbow 6 Jackpot Guaranteed At $150,000 Sunday

The Rainbow 6 went unsolved at Gulfstream Park Saturday on the second day following a single-ticket jackpot hit for $533,783.63 Thursday. The popular multi-race wager had gone unsolved for 11 racing days following a jackpot hit Dec. 18 for a $137,119 payoff.

Sunday's Rainbow 6 gross jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $150,000.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot is paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

In addition to the featured optional claiming allowance for 3-year-olds in Race 9, the Rainbow 6 sequence will be highlighted by a pair of deep maiden special weight races on turf for 3-year-old fillies in Races 5 and 8.

The qualifier will be held in the Champions Simulcast Center & Sports Bar on the second floor of the Hialeah Park clubhouse, located at 2200 East 4th Avenue, on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023.

Handicappers can purchase their entries for the qualifying tournament by visiting the Hialeah Park web site at www.hialeahpark.com.

Scheduled as a points event on the 2022 NHC Tour, the grand prizes will be seats for the top two finishers in the National Horseplayers Championship finals at the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas, formerly Bally's, from March 10-12, 2023, including hotel and airfare.

Under rules established by the NHC, participants in the Hialeah Park tournament must be a 2022 Tour member to earn a seat in the 2023 finals

The $500 entry fee for current NHC tour members will cover a $300 live bankroll for wagering on designated races at Gulfstream Park and Aqueduct, and $125 for cash prizes.

The remainder of the entry fee will cover a buffet lunch, programs for designated races, and Hialeah Park souvenir swag.

The prize money pool, determined by the total number of entries, will be awarded on site at the conclusion of the tournament, with 50% going to the winner, 30% to the runner-up, and 20% to the third-place finisher.

Only current National Horseplayers Championship tour members will be eligible to win the grand prizes. The event will also be open to non-members and they will be eligible to win the cash prizes.
