The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $300,000 Thursday at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the second racing day in a row following Saturday's mandatory payout. Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $11,760.80 Wednesday.

The jackpot pool is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

WHO'S HOT: Corey Lanerie made three visits to the Gulfstream Park winner's circle after scoring aboard Fuego Caliente ($32) in Race 1, Ludington ($10) in Race 3 and Bimini ($8.40) in Race 4.

Trainer Peter Walder saddled Ludington and Bimini.

Gulfstream Park: Guaranteed $1.4-Million Rainbow 6 Jackpot Thursday; Mandatory Payout Saturday

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $1.4 million Thursday at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 11th racing day in a row Wednesday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $14,488.28.

A mandatory payout of the Rainbow 6 pool is scheduled for Saturday.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is usually only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool usually goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool. However, on mandatory-payout days, the entire pool is paid out to the bettor or bettors with the most winners in the six-race sequence.

Thursday's Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10, highlighted by the Race 9 feature, a five-furlong optional claiming allowance on turf. Tiger Blood is scheduled to seek his 20^th career victory against six rivals.

There will also be a carryover of $12,612.49 in the $1 Super Hi-5 wager for Thursday's opener going 1 1/8 miles on the grass.

WHO'S HOT: Leading rider Luis Saez made three visits to the Gulfstream winner's circle after scoring aboard Raulito ($5.40) in Race 1, Corey ($7.60) in Race 6 and Shootin the Breeze ($7.80) in Race 8.

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $1.4 million Wednesday at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 10th racing day in a row Sunday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $16,706.94.

Ride A Comet Tops Tropical Turf (G3) Nominations
John Oxley and My Meadowview Farm LLC's Ride a Comet is prominent among 20 nominations for the $100,000 Tropical Turf (G3) Jan. 9 at Gulfstream Park.

The 6-year-old son of Candy Ride has won seven of 12 career starts, including four of five races on turf. The Mark Casse trainee captured the 2018 Del Mar Futurity (G2) before heading to the sidelines for 25 months. He came back in the fall to win both starts, including the Kennedy Road (G2) over Woodbine's synthetic surface.

Jordan Wycoff's Tusk has been nominated to defending his 2020 victory in the Topical Turf, a mile turf stakes for 4-year-olds and up. The 8-year-old son of Tapit went to the sidelines for 11 months before returning to action in the Claiming Crown Emerald, a race in which the Saffie Joseph Jr. trainee prepped for last year's victory.

William Lawrence's Analyze It, a multiple graded-stakes winner, was on the sidelines for 10 months after finishing third in the 2018 Breeders' Cup Mile (G1), returning to capture the Red Bank (G3) at Monmouth in September. The Chad Brown-trained son of Point of Entry finished off the board in the Shadwell Mile (G1) at Keeneland in his most recent start.

Amerman Racing LLC's Admission Office, who ran in last year's Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1), has been nominated to the Tropical Turf. The Brian Lynch-trained 6-year-old has been idled since the winning the Louisville (G3) at Churchill June 20. The son of Point of Entry finished second in the Fort Lauderdale (G2) and Mac Diarmida (G2) last season.

WHO'S HOT: Two-time defending Championship Meet titlist Irad Ortiz Jr. enjoyed a three-win day Sunday, scoring aboard Kasim ($5.20) in Race 2, Search Results ($5.60) in Race 6, and Bad Beat Brian ($4.40) in Race 7.

Edgard Zayas notched a double with Under the Couvers ($8.60) in Race 1 and Swirling Candy ($12.40) in Race 5.

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $1.3 million Sunday at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

First race post Sunday is 12:05 p.m.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the ninth racing day in a row Saturday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $1,376.34.

There will also be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $4,868.05.

Sunday's Rainbow 6 sequence, which will span Races 6-11, will be kicked off by a well-stocked maiden special weight race for 3-year-old fillies at six furlongs. Search Results, a daughter of Flatter trained by Chad Brown; Born Again, a Saffie Joseph Jr.-trained daughter of Not This Time; Baffle 'Em, a Brendan Walsh-trained daughter of Quality Road, and Red Wind, an Antonio Sano-trained daughter of Mizzen Mast; are all scheduled to make their respective debuts in the Race 6 maiden event.

WHO'S HOT: Leading conditioner Todd Pletcher took three trips to the winner's circle, winning the Mucho Macho Man with Mutasaabeq ($4.20), the Ginger Bew with Con Lima ($6.20), and a maiden special weight event on the turf with Winfromwithin ($9.40).
