MUNNY ROCKETTE (Munnings) sold to Champion Equine for $450,000 as a yearling at last year's Fasig-Tipton New York Saratoga Select Yearling Sale and went for $1-million when Donato Lanni signed the ticket for Frank Fletcher Racing Operations on the final day of this year's OBS March Sale. Trained by Bill Mott and with Junior Alvarado in the irons, the bay filly's second dam is a half sister to GI Test S. and GI Ballerina H. winner Chaposa Springs (Baldski) and GI Met Mile champ You and I (Kris S.)

Also looking to make her mark first time out, Catherine Wheel (Into Mischief) is an OBS April alum who fetched $725,000. She hails from an extended female family which includes GI Belmont S. winners Rags to Riches (A.P. Indy) and Arcangelo (Arrogate). Joining this pair is Ella Elizabeth (Take Charge Indy), who sold to Gus King for $510,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Old Sale. Heading to the Pea Patch, $675,000 OBS April grad Blitz (Uncle Mo) debuts for Gary Barber and DJ Stable. The dark bay filly, out of GSW Customer Base (Lemon Drop Kid), is trained by Mark Casse and will be ridden by Cristian Torres. She drilled :48.00 Aug. 5 at Ellis (4f, 7/49) in preparation for this start.

Also entered is Movin' On Up (Accelerate), who is a well-connected Harvey Clarke Racing Stables homebred. Trained by Brendan Walsh and ridden by Martin Garcia, the gray filly is the first offspring out of Stifle Yourself (Cairo Prince). Second dam Gloria S. (Tapit) produced GI Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup winner Harvey's Lil Goil (American Pharoah) and she counts GI Kentucky Derby victor I'll Have Another (Flower Alley) and MGSW Golden Award (Medaglia d'Oro) as half siblings. With a sixteenth left, she found more to turn back a charge from La Girvina (Girvin) to win by 1 1/2 lengths. Out of an extended female family which includes GI Kentucky Oaks and GI Alabama S. heroine Princess of Sylmar (Majestic Warrior), the winner's dam is responsible for Arnie (City of Light), a 2-year-old colt who was purchased last year for $400,000 Ylg KEESEP by CRK Stable. Into Mischief Filly Rolls Down Lane A Spa Maiden Winner

3rd-Saratoga, $88,000, (S), Msw, 8-9, 2yo, f, 5 1/2f (off turf), 1:06.12, ft, 4 3/4 lengths.
TRICKY TEMPER (f, 2, Into Mischief–Winter Book {MSW, $148,299}, by Any Given Saturday) went off as the 6-5 favorite in this off-the-turf debut that saw half of the field scratch following heavy rains earlier in the week. The bay rated to the outside up the backstretch, three off the lead. Tricky Temper was still in chase mode around the far turn, but at the top of the lane, she flashed her speed down the center of the track to win by 4 3/4 lengths over My Kinda Mischief (Maximus Mischief). The winner's dam, who is a half-sister to GSW Motor City (Street Sense), produced a yearling filly by Gift Box and she visited Yaupon for next year. Julias Dream Gives Flameaway His First ‘TDN Rising Star’ At Del Mar

Set for a debut at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on Sunday afternoon, Julias Dream (Flameaway) gave her freshman sire something to cheer about as she came home a newly-minted 'TDN Rising Star'.

Taking to the grass, the chestnut filly at 6-1 odds shot to the lead up the backstretch and held sway around the far turn. Into the stretch, Julias Dream went on comfortably to win by 5 1/2 lengths and stop the clock at :56.97 over fellow first timer Avoir (More Than Ready).

The winner's dam is a half-sister to GISP Abby Girl (Meadowlake), She also produced a yearling colt by Air Force Blue and she was bred to Blueblood for next year. This is Flameaway's eighth winner and his first 'Rising Star'.
