PRETTIEST (Dubawi {Ire}) is the first foal out of the G1 Falmouth S., G1 Matron S. and G1 Sun Chariot S. winner Alice Springs (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) who is such a prized asset at Coolmore. Seamie Heffernan has the mount on the February-foaled chestnut, who faces eight rivals and three experienced ones in a tough introduction.

Laurens Foals Invincible Spirit Colt

Laurens (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), a winner of six Group 1 races, has produced a colt by Invincible Spirit (Ire) as her first foal, owner John Dance announced via Twitter Tuesday morning. Successful in the G1 Fillies' Mile at two, she will visit Kingman (GB) in 2021. The bay is also a winner of the G1 Prix Saint-Alary, G1 Prix de Diane, G1 Matron S., G1 Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot S. and G1 Prix Rothschild. It was announced last January that Laurens would visit the Irish National Stud stalwart, having been originally penciled in for Coolmore Stud's No Nay Never.

“So….he finally arrived, Invincible Spirit x Laurens,” tweeted Dance. “What a stunner.”

MGISW Divisidero’s First Foal is a Colt

Airdrie Stud's Divisidero (Kitten's Joy–Madame Du Lac, by Lemon Drop Kid) was recently represented by his first reported foal, a colt born at Airdrie. The chestnut colt was produced by Always Tomorrow (Badge of Silver), a winning full-sister to GISW Bigger Picture.

“He's leggy and strong with good depth through the shoulder, all the things that you want to see in a newborn foal. We are very pleased,” said Cormac Breathnach, Airdrie's Director of Stallion Nominations. “He is chestnut with two socks and a blaze, so you can really see the Kitten's Joy influence coming through. Mr. [Brereton C.] Jones is continuing to support Divisidero with some very nice mares and this is the kind of foal to embolden that faith.”

Divisidero was a graded stakes winner all five years he raced, highlighted by victories in back-to-back runnings of the GI Woodford Reserve Turf Classic. He stands at Airdrie for a 2021 fee of $5,000, stands and nurses.

Breaking Lucky Represented by First Foal

GSW & MGISP Breaking Lucky (Lookin at Lucky–Shooting Party, Sky Classic) was represented by his first foal Jan. 29, a colt born at Blue Star Racing in Louisiana. Bred by 4M Ranch and Blue Star Racing, the colt is out of Anea (Unbridled's Song).

“If there is one word that I can use to describe this colt, it would be strong,” said Blue Star Racing Owner Dex Comardelle. “He is nicely put together, has all the right angles, has good bone, conformation, and lots of leg! If this first colt is any indication of how the rest of Breaking Lucky's crop will look, it's going to be an exciting year.”

A four-time winner and millionaire, Breaking Lucky stands at Pleasant Acres Stallions in Florida for $5,000 LFSN.
