Group 1 winner Fifty Stars (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Aus}), who stands at Sunnyhill Stud in Ireland, has had his first mares scanned in foal. Some mares in foal to the half-brother to Leopardstown Grade 1 winner Whiskey Sour (Ire) (Jeremy) include Grade 2 Fairyhouse Festival winner Lady Breffni (Ire) (Yeats {Ire}), herself a half-sister to the dam of dual G3 Grand National winner Tiger Roll (Ire) (Authorized {Ire}); Moraine (GB) (Rainbow Quest), the dam of Wicklow Brave (GB) (Beat Hollow {GB}); Kerry and Munster National-winning Cabaret Queen (GB) (King's Theatre {Ire}); bumper winner Stops The Nation (Ire) (Bated Breath {GB}), who is a sister to Wicklow Brave; and AQPS Grade 3 winner Et Dite (Fr) (Limnos {Jpn}). The 7-year-old, who won the G1 Australian Cup at Flemington over 10 furlongs, stands for €3,000 this year.
“We're delighted to see Fifty Stars with his first mares in foal,” said Jack Cantillon. “His walk was the talk of the Irish Stallion Trail and his first book is proving hugely exciting. A big thank you to breeders for their immense support at Sunnyhill including in particular his racing owner Gerry Ryan who invested almost €250,000 at the mares' sales to support Fifty Stars. We couldn't be more excited after his flying start.”
