Four Tie For Fastest Furlong During Final Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Under Tack Show

The third and final session of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale under tack show featured four juveniles that breezed an eighth of a mile in :10 seconds flat to tie for the fastest time of the day.

Hip 394, a Maclean's Music colt out of the Grade 3-placed stakes-winning Storm Boot mare Coco Belle, whose six winners from seven foals to race includes stakes winner Cofactor and stakes-placed Coco Tiger. The colt sells as property of Shamrock Stable.

Hip 477, a first-crop Midnight Storm colt out of the stakes-placed Lit de Justice mare Freedom Come. The colt is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner Harlem Rocker, and he's consigned by James Layden, agent.

Hip 515, a Palace filly out of the Bluegrass Cat mare Honky Tonk Angel. The filly is a sibling to stakes-placed Tapiz Dream, and she's consigned by Top Line Sales, agent.

Hip 524, a Nyquist colt who is the first foal out of the winning Speightstown mare In It For the Gold. The New York-bred's second dam is the Grade 1-placed stakes winner All Due Respect. He is consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent.

Thursday's fastest worker at a quarter-mile was Hip 550, an Empire Maker colt who covered the distance in :21 4/5 seconds.

The bay colt is out of the Orientate mare Lady Pewitt, making him a half-brother to champion Jaywalk Grade 3-placed stakes winner Danzatrice. Grade 2 winner Mission Impazible is also in the extended family of this colt, who is consigned by de Meric Sales, agent.

The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale will take place May 17-18, with each session beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern.

Five Juveniles Clock Fastest Furlong At Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale’s Second Under Tack Session

Wednesday's group of juveniles at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale under tack show was led by a quintet of horses that covered an eighth of a mile in :10 flat.

Hip 211, a Quality Road colt out of the unraced Storm Cat mare Stormy Welcome, whose runners include the stakes-placed Welcoming. His third dam is the cornerstone broodmare Weekend Surprise, putting this colt in the family of Horse of the Year A.P. Indy, Preakness Stakes winner Summer Squall, and Grade 1 winners Happy Saver and Court Vision. Eddie Woods consigns the colt, as agent.

Hip 260, a Munnings colt out of the winning Medaglia d'Oro mare Tweet, whose three foals to race are all winners. Wavertree Stables consigns the Pennsylvania-bred, as agent.

Hip 264, a first-crop Tom's Ready colt out of the winning Macho Uno mare Uno Royale. The Florida-bred is consigned by de Meric Sales, agent.

Hip 337, an American Pharoah colt out of the Theatrical mare Baroness Aamoura. King's Equine consigns the half-brother to stakes-placed Madam Aamoura, as agent.

Hip 340, Pippilotta, a Race Day filly who is the first foal out of the winning Into Mischief mare Battle Tux. Grassroots Training and Sales consigns the filly, as agent.

Wednesday's fastest worker at a quarter-mile was Hip 295, a Union Rags filly out of the stakes-winning Northern Afleet mare Afleet Lass. The filly is a half-sister to Grade 3-placed stakes winner Honor the Fleet, and Brazillian champions Juno and Love 'N' Happiness are in the extended family. Tom McCrocklin consigns the filly as agent.

The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale under tack show concludes Thursday, beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern. The auction will take place May 17-18, beginning each day at 11 a.m.

Empire Maker Filly, Malibu Moon Colt Breeze Fastest Furlongs During First Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Under Tack Session

Two juveniles tied for the fastest time at an eighth of a mile on Tuesday during the first session of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale Under Tack Show, each covering the distance in :10 seconds flat.

Hip 109 is an Empire Maker filly out of the placed Deputy Minister mare Pontiana. All four foals to race out of the dam are winners, including the stakes-placed Addibel Lightning. The filly's second dam is the multiple Grade 1 winner Shine Again.

McKathan Bros. Sales consigns the filly, as agent.

Also hitting the time on Tuesday was Hip 164, a Malibu Moon colt out of the unraced Seeking the Gold mare Seeking Atlantis. The bay colt is a sibling to four winners from as many runners out of the dam, including Grade 3-placed Seeking Her Glory and stakes-placed Castellani. His second dam is the multiple Grade 3 winner Atlantic Ocean.

The colt is consigned by Eddie Woods, agent.

Tuesday's fastest juvenile at a quarter-mile was Hip 166, a More Than Ready colt who stopped the clock in :21 2/5 seconds.

The dark bay or brown colt is out of the Grade 3-winning Forestry mare Separate Forest, whose three foals to race are all winners, including the Grade 2-placed stakes winner Hendy Woods. Kirkwood Stables consigns the colt, as agent.

The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic under tack show continues daily through Thursday, May 13, with each day's breezes beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern.

The auction itself will take place May 17-18, starting each day at 11 a.m. Eastern.
