Godolphin's 14-strong draft took the four top spots during Tuesday's Tattersalls Ascot June Sale.
The dearest of them all was lot 48, the four-time winner Silent Film (GB) (New Approach {Ire}), who went to Ian Williams Racing for £120,000. One of two lots to make six figures on the day, the gelding is rated 100. Williams was the sale's leading buyer.
Second was Through The Ages (GB) (Golden Horn {GB}) (lot 57), who caught the eye of Durcan Bloodstock/G L Moore Racing at £100,000. The entire consignment grossed £385,500 (41% of the total gross), averaged £25,700 and the median was £11,000.
For the sale as a whole, 105 lots sold of 115 offered (91%). The gross was £929,700, while the median edged up 8% to £5,000. The average rose 27% to £8,854.
