‘She Could End Up At The Breeders’ Cup’: Warm Heart Earns Free Berth In ‘Classy’ Yorkshire Oaks Win

Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith, Westerberg's Warm Heart (IRE) narrowly got the better of Free Wind (IRE) Thursday in a stirring finish to the 1 1/2-mile Pertemps Network Yorkshire Oaks (G1) at York. The daughter of Galileo (IRE) earned an automatic starting position in the $2 million Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1) through the Breeders' Cup Challenge Series: Win and You're In.

The Breeders' Cup Challenge Series is an international series of 80 Graded/Group stakes races whose winners receive automatic starting positions and fees paid into a corresponding race of the Breeders' Cup World Championships, scheduled to be held Nov. 3-4 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.

After finishing behind stable companion Savethelastdance (IRE) and Bluestocking (GB) on soft ground in the July 22 Juddmonte Irish Oaks (G1), Warm Heart, ridden by James Doyle, bounced back to the form which saw her win the Ribblesdale Stakes (G2) at Royal Ascot in June.

After 10-3 favorite Savethelastdance set the pace under Ryan Moore, Warm Heart, off at odds of 9-1, traveled powerfully up the York straight and took up the running from her stable companion after passing the 2-furlong marker. Her main danger appeared to be the John and Thady Gosden-trained Free Wind, a 5-year-old mare who was also bouncing back from a poor run on heavy ground at Goodwood last time out. The duo locked horns but it was Warm Heart who found plenty to win by a head. Savethelastdance finished 2 1/4-lengths back in third.

Warm Heart completed the 1 1/2 miles in 2:25:86 over nine rivals on a surface listed as good to firm.

Aidan O'Brien, who won the £500,000 contest for the seventh time, said: “It just didn't happen in the Irish Oaks. The ground was a little bit on the slow side. She was lovely today. She's a very classy filly and you saw what she did in the Ribblesdale.”

O'Brien also suggested Warm Heart she could end up at Santa Anita in November.

“Warm Heart handles the better ground very well, so it's not a problem with her,” he said. “She can do anything. She could end up at the Breeders' Cup.”

O'Brien saddled Tuesday (IRE) to win last year's Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Keeneland.

As part of the benefits of the Challenge Series, Breeders' Cup will pay the entry fees for Warm Heart to start in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita, which will be run at 1 1/4 miles. Breeders' Cup will also provide a travel allowance for all starters based outside of North America to compete in the World Championships. The Challenge winner must be nominated to the Breeders' Cup program by the Championships' pre-entry deadline of Oct. 23 to receive the rewards.

Win And You’re In: Highfield Princess Bids To Defend Her Title In Friday’s Nunthorpe

Defending Highfield Princess (IRE), one of the world's top turf sprinters, heads the field for Friday's Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes (G1) at York. The winner of the five-furlong showpiece is guaranteed an automatic starting position in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1) through the Breeders' Cup Challenge Series: Win and You're In.

The John Quinn-trained Highfield Princess, who finished fourth in the 2022 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1), returns to group 1 action after winning the King George Qatar Stakes (G2) in her latest start at Goodwood. The 6-year-old daughter of Night of Thunder (IRE) won three group 1 races last year and returned to top form at Goodwood after three placed efforts to start 2023.

Quinn has no doubt about Highfield Princess' quality. He said: “She has gone from being a top-class handicapper to probably the best sprinting filly in Europe, if not the world.”

Her regular jockey Jason Hart reaffirmed these claims, adding: “She's probably the best horse I'll ever ride, and she's back to form.”

At Royal Ascot, Highfield Princess, owned by Trainers House Enterprises Ltd, was narrowly beaten in both the King's Stand Stakes (G1) by Bradsell (GB) and in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes (G1) by Khaadem (IRE). Both of her victors have been declared for Friday's red-hot contest. Bradsell will once again be ridden by Hollie Doyle for trainer Archie Watson and the Charlie Hills-trained Khaadem will be partnered by Jamie Spencer.

Andrea Atzeni takes the mount on the Mick Appleby-trained Big Evs (IRE), supplemented for the race for a fee of £40,000. The 2-year-old son of Blue Point (IRE) has enjoyed a fantastic start to his career including wins at both Royal Ascot in the Windsor Castle Stakes and at Goodwood in the Jaeger-Lecoultre Molecomb Stakes (G3).

The Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint is restricted to runners 3-years-old and older. Should Big Evs win Friday's race, his connections would be permitted to transfer the waived entry fees for him to start in a Breeders' Cup World Championships Juvenile race based on eligibility.

Karl Burke's 3-year-old filly Dramatised (IRE), who finished second in last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1) at Keeneland, has only been seen twice this season. Her Royal Ascot run in the King's Stand was disappointing but a strong effort for owners Clipper Logistics at Haydock prior that resulted in a win in the Betfred Temple Stakes (G2).

Trainer Edward Bethell chose to skip Goodwood in favor of this race for the Future Champions Racing Regional-owned Regional (GB), who boasts course and distance form. The 5-year-old son of Territories (IRE) is unbeaten in two starts this year.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained Aesop's Fables (IRE) is stepping down in trip and looking to improve on third place at Newbury in May. Ryan Moore takes the ride.

Equality (GB), trained by Charlie Hills, was well-beaten by Highfield Princess at Goodwood, but won his two previous starts over 5 furlongs.

Adam West's Live In The Dream (IRE) started this season with victories in back-to-back handicaps and ran creditably in a Listed contest at Deauville.

Completing the 16-runner field are Twilight Calls (GB), under Frankie Dettori, Tees Spirit (GB), Makarova (GB), Nymphadora (GB), Get Ahead (GB), Ladies Church (GB) and Queen Me (IRE).

As part of the benefits of the Challenge Series, Breeders' Cup will pay the entry fees for the Nunthorpe Stakes winner to start in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Santa Anita, which will be run over 5 furlongs. Breeders' Cup will also provide a travel allowance for all starters based outside of North America to compete in the World Championships. The Challenge winner must be nominated to the Breeders' Cup program by the Championships' pre-entry deadline of Oct. 23 to receive the rewards.

Win And You’re In: 9-Year-Old Veteran Channel Maker Faces Six Rivals In Sword Dancer

The evergreen 9-year-old Channel Maker will strive for a rare feat in Saturday's 49th running of the Grade 1, $750,000 Resorts World Casino Sword Dancer going 1 1/2 miles over the inner turf at Saratoga Race Course.

Should Channel Maker win the Sword Dancer, he would become the fourth 9-year-old horse to earn a Grade 1 triumph at a NYRA track, according to data provided by Equibase. In accomplishing the feat, he would join John's Call who captured the 2000 Sword Dancer and Turf Classic Invitational at nine, as well as Hall of Famer John Henry who won the 1984 Turf Classic as a 9-year-old. This May, Trinity Farm's New York-bred 9-year-old Red Knight won the Grade 1 Man o' War at Belmont Park.

“It's surprising that any horse is a graded stakes winner at nine, much less Channel Maker, and much less at Saratoga,” said his Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott, who saddled previous Sword Dancer winners Theatrical [1987], Fraise [1992], and Broadway Flyer [1996].

The Sword Dancer is a “Win And You're In” qualifier offering an automatic entry into the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf in November at Santa Anita. Previous horses to capture the Sword Dancer and Breeders' Cup Turf in the same year include Theatrical, Fraise, Better Talk Now [2004] and Main Sequence [2014].

The Sword Dancer, slated as Race 11, is one of five Grade 1 events on Saturday's lucrative 13-race card headlined by the Grade 1, $1.25 million Travers for 3-year-olds going 10 furlongs. Also on the card is the Grade 1 $500,000 H. Allen Jerkens Memorial for 3-year-olds going seven furlongs, the Grade 1, $500,000 Forego for older horses going seven furlongs and the Grade 1, $500,000 Ballerina – a “Win And You're In” for the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint – for older fillies and mares sprinting seven furlongs.

Channel Maker kicked off his career in July 2016 and has covered plenty of ground since, compiling a record of 54-10-6-5 and lifetime earnings of $3,890,358 through a total of seven graded stakes victories. The Ontario-bred son of English Channel captured the 2020 Sword Dancer and will make his sixth straight appearance in the prestigious 12-furlong turf test.

After earning his first graded stakes triumph when dead-heating with Glorious Empire in the Grade 2 Bowling Green in 2018, he finished second to the same foe in the Sword Dancer before finishing fourth in 2019. He finished a respective sixth and tenth in 2021 and 2022.

Channel Maker stamped himself as a legitimate horse in the older male turf division in 2018 when capturing the Bowling Green, two starts before earning a Grade 1 triumph in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic at Belmont Park. He returned to action the following year to defeat Arklow by a neck in the Grade 1 Man o' War at Belmont Park, later finishing second by a half-length to that rival in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic.

But arguably his best season took place in 2020 when he earned Eclipse Award honors for Champion Turf Male. After a 5 3/4-length gate-to-wire dominance in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer, he captured his second Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic en route to a third-place finish behind Tarnawa in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf at Keeneland. All three efforts earned career-high 108 Beyer Speed Figures.

After a winless season in 2021, Channel Maker made amends with a victorious 2022 debut in the Grade 2 Elkhorn at Keeneland before staving off Solider Rising in the Grand Couturier two starts later at Belmont Park.

Randy Hill of R.A. Hill Stable, who co-owns Channel Maker with Wachtel Stable, Gary Barber and Reeves Thoroughbred Racing, spoke of how remarkable it is to have a horse as consistent and durable as Channel Maker.

“He's some kind of horse,” Hill said. “Billy says that this horse just loves what he does, he loves to train, he loves to run, and he loves going out to the track.”

Channel Maker has done his best running when on the front end, utilizing pacesetting tactics en route to a two-length conquest last out on July 30 in the Bowling Green.

“If you let him get on the lead and get comfortable on the lead, he's tough to beat,” Hill noted. “When he turned for home with the lead last time, I couldn't be more confident. I knew he wasn't letting anybody go by him. He's a mean old dude.”

A win in the Sword Dancer could propel the iron horse back to the Breeders' Cup Turf, a race he has competed in every year since 2018.

“Obviously he's gotten older, but he still gives you everything he's got every time he steps out on to the track,” Hill said. “It'd be something if he could go out there and win it. If he does, then you have to think about the Breeders' Cup again.”

Manny Franco, who has piloted Channel Maker to three of his eight graded stakes victories, will be back aboard from post 6.

Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg's Bolshoi Ballet arrives from Ballydoyle Training Center in Ireland in search of his first triumph since taking the 2021 Grade 1 Belmont Derby Invitational before finishing fourth in the Saratoga Derby Invitational and Jockey Club Derby Invitational at Belmont Park.

Bolshoi Ballet, an Aidan O'Brien-trained son of Galileo, enters from a distant sixth at triple-digit odds in the Group 1 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth II Diamond in July over good to soft ground at Ascot. The 5-year-old bay did finish in the money in his other three starts this season, rounding out the trifecta behind group stakes winning stablemate Emily Dickinson in the Vintage Crop in April going 1 3/4 miles over heavy ground at Navan. He was also a close third in the Group 3 Al Rayaan in May at Newbury before finishing second in the Wolferton in June at Royal Ascot.

O'Brien's traveling assistant T.J. Comerford said Bolshoi Ballet would prefer firmer footing.

“He's arrived in good order – he's grand and fresh. We're hoping he's starting to pick it up now and he's back to somewhere near where he should be,” said Comerford. “You're not going to get your ground at home at the moment, it's been very wet. He's run in a few races this year and he's been stepping up all the time. His run at Newbury was a good run for him going a mile and a half.”

Bolshoi Ballet was highly regarded early in his sophomore season, arriving at the Group 1 Epsom Derby as the favorite after two Group 3 conquests going 10 furlongs at Leopardstown.

Despite being 0-for-5 going 1 1/2 miles, Comerford expressed confidence in Bolshoi Ballet getting the distance.

“A mile and a quarter at home is fine for him, but he seems to stay the mile and a half,” Comerford said. “He looks really well. He's developed lovely from being a 3-year-old and he's a very good horse to travel. He's a fine horse and if he could win on Saturday it would make him that bit better again to stand.”

Bolshoi Ballet, bred in Ireland by Lynch-Bages and Rhinestone Bloodstock, is out of the Anabaa mare Alta Anna. He is a full-brother to Southern France, who was a dual group-winning stayer in Ireland and Australia. He also comes from the same extended family as multiple group winner Bewitched.

Hall of Famer John Velazquez will pick up the mount from post 3.

Grade 1-placed Stone Age [post 7, Flavien Prat] will make his debut for four-time Eclipse Award-winner Chad Brown, who seeks his fourth Sword Dancer triumph.

Owned by the Michael Tabor, Mrs. John Magnier, Derrick Smith, Westerberg and Peter Brant, Stone Age finished second in last year's Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf in November at Keeneland for previous trainer Aidan O'Brien and also was a close-third in the Grade 1 Belmont Derby Invitational. The 4-year-old Galileo dark bay was last seen finishing a distant 12th in the Group 1 HH The Amir Trophy in February at Doha Racecourse in Qatar.

“He's been very straightforward since I got him,” Brown said. “He's done very well and has been on a nice, steady work pattern.”

Bred in Ireland by Brant's White Birch Farm, Stone Age is out of the Anaaba mare Bonanza Creek, who is a half-sister to 2002 French Champion 3-Year-Old Filly Bright Sky.

Trainer Christophe Clement saddled 2021-22 Sword Dancer winner Gufo and sends out Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables, and Wonder Stables' Solider Rising [post 1, Jose Ortiz], who finished third in last year's Sword Dancer.

The 5-year-old Frankel gelding also boasts three other Grade 1 placings when second in the 2021 Saratoga Derby as well as this year's Man o' War and Manhattan – both at Belmont.

Trainer Robert Ribuado and owner Marc Keller captured back-to-back editions of the Sword Dancer in 2007-08 with Grand Couturier and return this year with two-time winner Daunt [post 4, Javier Castellano]. The 4-year-old Nyquist dark bay finished second in his first three starts this year over Belmont's inner turf before finishing fourth in the Bowling Green, 4 1/4 lengths behind Channel Maker.

Bowling Green runner-up Verstappen [post 2, Declan Cannon] will attempt to turn the tables on Channel Maker. The Brendan Walsh-trained 4-year-old War Front gelding captured the Grade 2 Elkhorn in April at Keeneland by a head over Red Knight en route to a seventh-place finish in the Man o' War behind that same rival.

Completing the field is A. Bianco Holding Limited's Pioneer Spirit [post 5, Irad Ortiz, Jr.], who has done no wrong since going back to turf. He was scratched from Wednesday's $135,000 John's Call in favor of the Sword Dancer.

Trainer Linda Rice haltered the American Pharoah gelding for $40,000 out of a maiden claimer in February at Aqueduct and he has not lost in three starts since winning over the Belmont inner turf in May for the same price. He enters from a local 11-furlong allowance optional claimer on July 27.

The Sword Dancer honors the 1959 Horse of the Year and Champion 3-Year-Old Colt, who won that year's Belmont Stakes and Travers after finishing second in the first two legs of the Triple Crown. Trained by the late Hall of Famer Elliott Burch and owned by Isabel Dodge Sloane's Brookmeade Farm, Sword Dancer defeated elders in that year's Woodward, Metropolitan Handicap and Jockey Club Gold Cup to seal up Championship honors. He returned the following year to capture a second straight running of the Woodward while earning prominent scores in the Suburban Handicap and Grey Lag. During his stud career, Sword Dancer sired 1967 Horse of the Year and fellow Hall of Famer Damascus as well as 1966 Champion 3-Year-Old Filly Lady Pitt.

Champions Echo Zulu, Midnight Olive Meet In ‘Win And You’re In’ Ballerina

Winchell Thoroughbreds and L and N Racing's Echo Zulu puts her unbeaten 4-year-old campaign and lifetime perfect record at the Spa on the line in Saturday's Grade 1, $500,000 Ballerina Handicap, a seven-furlong main track sprint for fillies and mares, at Saratoga Race Course.

Trained by Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen, Echo Zulu [post 6, Florent Geroux, 123 pounds] enters from an impressive 7 1/4-length score in the six-furlong Grade 2, Honorable Miss on July 26 here, where she set the pace and opened up a five-length advantage at the stretch call before being geared down to the finish in a final time of 1:08.76. The performance earned a career-best 112 Beyer Speed Figure and was her seventh graded victory.

Asmussen said the talented bay, whose only off-the-board effort came in the nine-furlong Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks, is at her best around one turn.

“That's who she is,” said Asmussen of the lofty speed figure garnered in the Honorable Miss. “We chased the Oaks with her a little bit last year, but when you back her up, she's absolutely brilliant.”

From the first crop of 2017 Horse of the Year Gun Runner, Echo Zulu won her racing debut sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs in July 2021 at the Spa en route to three consecutive Grade 1 victories that year in Saratoga's Spinaway, Belmont's Frizette, and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar to earn year-end honors as Champion 2-Year-Old Filly.

Echo Zulu started her sophomore season right where she left off, winning the Grade 2 Fair Grounds Oaks by a nose before her first defeat in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks. She cut back to seven furlongs in September to win the Grade 3 Dogwood at Churchill Downs, before a second at that distance in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at Keeneland.

A win in the Ballerina punches a “Win and You're In” ticket to this year's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, contested in November at Santa Anita.

“You concentrate on what you have control over. We love how Echo Zulu is doing and feel great about her going into the Ballerina,” Asmussen said.

Bred in Kentucky by Betz/J. Betz/Burns/CHNNHK/Magers/CoCo Equine/Ramsby, Echo Zulu was a $300,000 purchase at the 2020 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. She holds a record of 10-8-1-0 with over $2.3 million in earnings.

Asmussen could also be represented by Winchell Thoroughbreds' multiple graded stakes-winning Kentucky homebred Wicked Halo [post 5, Tyler Gaffalione. 123 pounds] as she looks to protect a perfect 2-for-2 record at the Spa.

The 4-year-old Gun Runner grey, who is cross-entered in Friday's Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon at Charles Town, captured the Grade 2 Adirondack here in August 2021 and added the Grade 2 Prioress to her ledger last summer. She finished third in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint in November and is 4-2-2-0 this season, taking the Matron at Oaklawn Park and the Twin Bridges last out on July 23 at Ellis Park.

Wicked Halo is out of the Tapit mare Just Wicked, who won the 2015 Grade 2 Adirondack for these connections.

Team Hanley and First Row Partners' Goodnight Olive [post 7, Irad Ortiz, Jr., 124 pounds], trained by meet leading conditioner Chad Brown, won last year's Ballerina before taking the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at Keeneland with a 2 1/2-length score over Echo Zulu to secure honors as Champion Female Sprinter.

“It's a very strong division. Echo Zulu will be a tough horse to tackle. But our horse is fresh and doing well at the moment. I'm optimistic that she'll run well,” said Brown.

After the Championship coup, Brown gave Goodnight Olive some time off before her 5-year-old debut in April when she won the Grade 1 Madison going seven furlongs at Keeneland.

In the Ghostzapper mare's next outing, she ran third in the Grade 1 Derby City Distaff in May at Churchill Downs, two lengths behind returning rival Matareya – Goodnight Olive's first defeat since her March 2021 debut at Gulfstream Park and only loss at seven furlongs.

Goodnight Olive rebounded nicely with a neck score last out on June 17 at Belmont in the Grade 2 Bed o' Roses, rallying to the lead late past Wicked Halo.

Bred in Kentucky by Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings, Goodnight Olive was a $170,000 purchase at the 2019 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale. She has banked in excess of $1.5 million through a ledger of 10-8-1-1- also is a perfect 2-for-2 at the Spa.

Godolphin's dual Grade 1-winner Matareya [post 2, Flavien Prat, 122 pounds], trained by Brad Cox, had a four-race win streak snapped in Saratoga's Grade 1 Test last August, but after a layoff and game second in the Matron in March at Oaklawn Park, she found herself back in the winner's circle for the Grade 1 Derby City Distaff.

The 4-year-old Pioneerof the Nile bay seeks a third Grade 1 victory, having also won the Acorn in June of last year at Belmont, where she cruised to a 6 1/4-length victory going a one-turn mile despite a bobble at the start.

Matareya boasts a 12-6-3-2 record with earnings in excess of $1.5 million. She was bred in Kentucky by Godolphin and is out of the graded-stakes winning Bernardini mare Innovative Idea.

Godolphin's Kentucky dual graded stakes-winning homebred Caramel Swirl [post 8, Junior Alvarado, 121 pounds] finished third last out in the Bed o' Roses for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott.

The 5-year-old Union Rags bay made the grade with a head score in the Grade 2 Raven Run in October 23 and two starts later finished second to Goodnight Olive in last year's Ballerina. Caramel Swirl rallied from sixth to win the 6 1/2-furlong Grade 3 Vagrancy in May at Belmont Park, besting returning rival Dr B by 2 1/2-lengths.

Cash is King and LC Racing will send out Dr B [post 4, Luis Saez, 118 pounds], trained by Butch Reid Jr., who last finished second to Echo Zulu in the Honorable Miss. Prior to that effort, she ran fourth, 13 1/2 lengths behind the victorious Goodnight Olive in the Bed o' Roses.

“The Honorable Miss was a real good race. We had one hiccup at Belmont where she was sulky in the paddock,” said Reid. “We gave her time off over the winter and this was the spot we were thinking of when we gave her that time off.”

Dr B was freshened following a 4 1/4-length win in the Grade 3 Go for Wand in December at Aqueduct to close her 4-year-old campaign, the grade-making performance earned a lifetime high 103 Beyer Speed Figure.

Mark Anderson's New York-bred graded-stakes placed Sterling Silver [post 1,

Javier Castellano, 116 pounds] finished ninth in her last try at the top flight in last year's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at odds of 78-1.

Trained by Tom Albertrani, Sterling Silver has returned with a strong 4-year-old season, last out winning a seven-furlong optional claiming event last out on July 29 at Saratoga to add to a pair of state-bred stakes placing at Belmont.

“She's a year older now. She's a little stronger this year,” Albertrani said. “It's still a tough race and another step up for her, but she deserves a shot and we'll hope for the best.”

Bred in New York by Mallory Mort and Karen Mort, Sterling Silver was a $13,000 purchase at the 2020 Fasig-Tipton Selected Yearlings Showcase. She has far exceeded that price, sporting a 15-5-2-3 record and $512,988 in purse earnings with key wins in Belmont's Bouwerie last year and Aqueduct's Franklin Square as a 2-year-old.

Rounding out the field is graded-stakes winner Maryquitecontrary [post 3, Luca Panici, 120 pounds] for Hall of Famer Shug McGaughey.

The 4-year-old First Dude bay captured the Grade 2 Inside Information in January at Gulfstream Park for her former conditioner Joseph Catanese, III. She finished a close second to Goodnight OIive in the Madison at first asking for McGaughey and arrives from a distant fourth after a bobbled start in the Honorable Miss.

The Ballerina is slated as Race 10 on Saturday's lucrative 13-race program, which is headlined by the Grade 1, $1.25 million Travers in Race 12. First post is 11:40 a.m. Eastern.

An expanded edition of Saratoga Live will begin at 11:30 a.m. on FS2 with continuing coverage on FS1 at 1:30 p.m. FOX SARATOGA SATURDAY will then present live coverage and analysis of the Travers Day stakes action beginning at 3 p.m.
