Also amongst the Godolphin mares are the Group and Listed winners Dancing Sands, Lady Liberty, and Yellow Rosebud in foal to their young sires Cracksman, Earthlight, and Too Darn Hot respectively, as well as the stakes producer Zam Zoom in foal to world champion Ghaiyyath.

The 93 Shadwell fillies and mares are equally eye-catching with mares in foal to exciting young stallions Blue Point, Masar, Mohaather, Persian King, and Pinatubo likely to prove popular alongside those in foal to proven Group 1 sires including Dark Angel, Invincible Spirit, Kingman, Lope de Vega, Night of Thunder, Oasis Dream, and Siyouni. Shadwell fillies have long been highly sought after at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale and amongst this year's regally bred fillies are those tracing back to the direct families of Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's outstanding homebred Champions Alhaarth, Bahri, Eswarah, Ghanaati, Lahudood, Mehthaaf, Nashwan, Shadayid, Taghrooda and latest superstar Baaeed.

The Juddmonte consignment is another perennial December Sale highlight and young mares in foal to Frankel and Kingman from top Juddmonte families are joined by regally bred fillies including half-sisters to Group 1 winners Epicuris, Quadrilateral, and Winsili, as well as Not in Doubt, the winning 3-year-old Sea the Stars daughter of multiple Grade 1 winner Intercontinental, herself one of the five Group/Grade 1 winners out of the legendary Juddmonte broodmare Hasili.

In a catalogue of real depth, proven dams of Group winners include Sunday Times, the dam of champion Newspaperofrecord, in foal to Lope de Vega, Mondelice, dam of 2021 Group 2 winning rising star Dubai Honour, in foal to New Bay and Vadariya, dam of 2021 Group 3 winner Waliyak, in foal to Pinatubo, while Group 1 winning mares in foal include Sir Robert Ogden's Amazing Maria, in foal to Oasis Dream, as well as Blond Me, Flotilla, Penelopa, and Temida in foal to Siyouni, Sea the Moon, Mehmas, and Sea the Moon respectively.

Also guaranteed to be amongst the highlights of the Newsells Park consignment and the sale is the 4-year-old Group 2 Blandford Stakes winner Cayenne Pepper. The classic placed daughter of Australia hails from the direct family of Galileo and Sea the Stars.

While outstanding Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes runner up Flotus is the star 2-year-old in the catalog, she is joined by an illustrious band of Group winning 3- and 4-year-old fillies in/out of training, most notably last year's Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac winner Tiger Tanaka, who ended her 2-year-old career as the joint highest rated 2-year-old filly in France alongside Group 2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte winner Plainchant, who is one of a typically strong 11 lot team from French based consignors European Sales Management, which also includes Group and Listed winning fillies Feel Glorious, Madeline Must, and See the Rose.

Having enjoyed a stellar year, Nick Bradley Racing will be offering a quartet of Group and Listed winning fillies in training headed by the Group 2 winning three-year-olds Dandalla and Fev Rover, both of whom also boast Classic or Group 1 form. They are joined by Listed winning Oaks runner up Mystery Angel, the Group 3 winning 2-year-old Corazon and the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes fourth Guilded.

The beautifully bred Group 3 Sceptre Fillies' Stakes winning 3-year-old Just Beautiful, beaten only twice in seven lifetime starts for trainer Ivan Furtado, is another filly with massive international appeal as are the Group 3 winners Axana, Have a Good Day, Lullaby Moon, Santosha, Stella Star and the Listed winning, Group 1 placed trio of Que Amoro, Measure of Magic, and Es La Vida.

Cairo Prince, Collected Headline Airdrie Stud’s 2022 Roster

Brereton C. Jones's Airdrie Stud has announced the farm stud fees for the 2022 breeding season.

Cairo Prince, the leading sire of 2-year-old winners in America, will stand the season at a fee of $15,000. Amongst his 23 2-year-old winners is the undefeated stakes-winner Cairo Memories, who will enter as one of the race favorites in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. The leading sire of his stallion crop by both stakes winners and graded stakes winners, Cairo Prince is approaching $6 million in 2021 earnings.

Also standing for a fee of $15,000 is the farm's popular young stallion, Collected. A Grade 1-winning son of leading sire City Zip, Collected has been represented by no fewer than 20 individual six-figure sales horses from his first crop of yearlings in 2021. “I believe Airdrie has earned the reputation as a stallion farm that will stand behind our product and put our breeders in position to profit in the sales ring or on the race track,” said Airdrie's Bret Jones. “As always, we will be supporting our young and exciting roster with the full force of our broodmare band and take great pride in making the same investment in our stallions that we ask of our customers. The commercial breeder knows that we will not flood the market with excessively high booking numbers and racehorse owners know that our stallions throw runners. We are extremely bullish on this year's roster and look forward to working with the incredible breeders that have long supported Airdrie.”

War Front Tops Claiborne Farm’s 2022 Stallion Roster At $100,000

The Hancock family's Claiborne Farm announced 2022 stud fees today for their stallion roster at the Paris, Ky.-based farm.

Internationally acclaimed sire War Front again heads all Claiborne stallions with a stud fee of $100,000.

The son of Danzig has had another strong year around the world with his 10 stakes winners led by Group 1 winner Homesman and four other Grade 1 performers worldwide. A stallion who has had stakes performers in six major countries this year, he again sees his 2-year-olds performing at a high standard, with the group including Grade 2 Pilgrim Stakes winner Annapolis, G1 Summer Stakes runner-up Grafton Street, and Ancient Rome who placed in the G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.

An emerging sire of sires, War Front is North America's number one sire by percentage of lifetime stakes winners, graded stakes winners, and Grade 1 winners. War Front also continues to be a hit in the sales ring with multiple million-dollar yearlings this year taking him to 29 seven-figure yearlings with his 2021 group led by a $1.2 million filly.

Standing alongside his famous sire is dual-surface star War of Will. This classic-winning son of War Front captured four graded stakes victories during his career, including the G1 Maker's Mark Mile at Keeneland on turf and the Preakness Stakes on dirt. 2022 will be his second year at stud for $25,000.

Already the sire of multiple champions, Flatter has had one of his best years in 2021 and will command a fee of $35,000 next season. Flatter is the sire of 120 stakes performers and nearly 60 stakes winners with over $80 million in progeny earnings to date. This year alone, the prolific A.P. Indy son has sired six stakes winners and 11 stakes horses led by the Grade 1 winner Search Results.

Champion racehorse Blame continues to prove year after year that he's one of the best of his generation with 70 stakes performers and 37 stakes winners – led by five Grade 1 winners. A proven sire in both North America and Europe, his runners this year include French Group 3 winner and €575,000 Arqana Arc Sale purchase Saiydabad with his eleven 2021 stakes performers coming in three different countries. Blame has also been in demand in the sales ring with his yearlings bringing up to $525,000. He will stand for $20,000 in 2022.

Catholic Boy will stand for $20,000 and Demarchelier will stand for $5,000 on the eve of their highly anticipated first weanlings going through the ring this fall.

Catholic Boy is one of only three North American 3-year-old colts in history to win Grade 1 events on both dirt and turf. Supported by top breeders around the world, the regally-bred graded stakes winner Demarchelier is the only son of the great Dubawi standing in Kentucky.

Champion sprinter Runhappy has been a leading second crop sire this year and will stand in 2022 for $12,500. The sire of nine stakes performers and five stakes winners, his runners are led by G2 Vosburgh Stakes winner Following Sea. Runhappy has also proven to be a top sire of juveniles this year with his 37.5 percent 2-year-old winners to runners. Included in his group of juveniles are stakes winners Runup, Happy Soul, and Run To Daylight.

Two exciting new stallions join Claiborne's roster this year in Performer and Silver State.

Undefeated as a 3-year-old, Phipps homebred Performer is by emerging sire-of-sires Speightstown and from the family of champion Storm Flag Flying and Hall of Fame mare Personal Ensign. A multiple graded stakes winner, Performer proved to be a talented racehorse who finished in the money 100 percent of the time. Among his wins were the G3 Discovery Stakes and the G3 Fred Hooper with Performer also placing in the G1 Cigar Mile Handicap. Performer will stand for $12,500.

A grandson of the great Claiborne stallion Danzig, G1 Metropolitan Handicap winner Silver State will enter stud at Claiborne in 2022. His stud fee will be announced at a later date. The winner of six consecutive races spanning 2020 and 2021, he has won or placed in eight stakes races in his career for over $1.9 million in earnings.
