Kilgame Brings 300k At Arqana Online

Kilgame (Fr) (Jeu St Eloi {Fr}) (lot 1) topped the Arqana March Online Sale at €300,000 on the bid of Alex Elliott's Elliott Bloodstock Services and NBB Racing's Nicolas Bertran de Balanda, on Thursday.

Placed over hurdles, the Gabriel Leenders-consigned dark bay is from the family of G1 Grand Prix d'Autumne winner Millenium Royal (Fr) (Mansonnien {Fr}).

Haras de la Hetraie's Kantagua Du Large (Fr) (Great Pretender {Ire}) (lot 6) went to Guy Petit for €68,000. The listed-placed chaser is a half-sister to the stakes-placed Farceur Du Large (Fr) (Turgeon).

Also sold was the 4-year-old filly Trheligonne (Fr) (Sant Des Saints {Fr}) (lot 3) for €21,000 to Caeau Bloodstock. Also consigned by Hetraie, she is a granddaughter of G3 Prix Andre Michel winner Eliga (Fr) (Turgeon), who foaled the Grade 1 winner Srelighonn (Fr) (Martaline {GB}).

The gross of the three lots was €389,000.

Toronado Filly One Of Eight In Arqana Online Catalogue

A select eight-lot catalogue for the Arqana Online March Sale was released on Thursday. Set for Thursday, Mar. 28 from 3-5 p.m. French time, the sale features debut winner Chiaraniya (Fr) (Toronado {Ire}) (lot 7), who is related to Group 1 winners Going Global (Ire) (Mehmas {Ire}) and Tiggy Wiggy (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}).

The remaining lots all hail from the National Hunt sphere with six horses-in-training including the listed-placed Kantagua Du Large (Fr) (Great Pretender {Ire}) (lot 6) and the winning AQPS Joyeux Coco (Fr) (Cokoriko {Fr}) (lot 8). Broodmare prospect Trheligonne (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}) (lot 3) is out of a half-sister to Grade 1-winning jumper Srelighonn (Fr) (Martaline {GB}).

Gold Shines Brightest At Arqana Online Sale

A select catalogue for the Arqana Online January Sale was topped by dual winner Gypsy Gold (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) (lot 6) who was knocked down to Ibrahim Araci of Old Mill Stud for €280,000.

Consigned by Haras de Saint Pari, the filly-out-of-training is out of the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and G1 Prix de Diane-placed Glorious Sight (Ire) (Singspiel {Ire}). The 4-year-old is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Glycon (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}) and a full-sibling to the stakes-placed Glaer (GB) (Siyouni {Fr}).

There were also four lots marked as sold from the Haras des Coudraies consignment, with that operation in the process of downsizing. Tops of the foursome was Korliska (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}) (lot 2), who joined the Haras du Berlais fold for €72,000. She is a full-sister to multiple group winner and Group 1-placed Kobrouk (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}). Haras de Chantemerle snapped up fellow Coudraies draft member Kapkine (Fr) (Kapgarde {Fr}) (lot 4) for €41,000. She is in foal to Masked Marvel (GB).

Breeding rights in both Victor Ludorum (GB) (lot 9) and Latrobe (Ire) (lot 11) sold for €21,000 and €16,000, respectively. The former was picked up by Oliver St Lawrence, while Guy Petit struck for the latter.

Gypsy Gold Among Late Supplements To Arqana January Online Sale

The Siyouni (Fr) filly Gypsy Gold (Fr), who was rated 91 at her highest, is one of several late additions to the Arqana January Online Sale. Bidding will open at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25 and last until 5 p.m. that evening.

Consigned as lot 6, the 4-year-old is offered out-of-training and is a daughter of the Classic-placed mare Glorious Sight (Ire) (Singspiel {Ire}). A two-time winner, Gypsy Gold is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Glycon (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}) and a full-sister to the multiple stakes-placed Glaer (GB) (Siyouni {Fr}).
