The Pick 6 for Thursday, December 30 will be bolstered by a $49,302 carryover as the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday at Aqueduct Racetrack in Ozone Park, N.Y.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $1,166 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 4 when Jorge Vargas, Jr. engineered a winning trip aboard the Michelle Giangiulio-trained Alpine Queen [No. 7, $9.40], to earn a second victory in eight starts for a $25,000 tag.

Reigning Chick [No. 12, $34.40] made her career debut a winning one at seven furlongs in Race 5, going wire-to-wire under Kendrick Carmouche for trainer Orlando Noda.

The shortest price in the sequence took place in Race 6, when Maiden Beauty [No. 5, $5.00] earned her eighth career win in 34 lifetime starts. Carmouche piloted the daughter of Revolutionary for trainer Robert Falcone, Jr.

Carmouche completed a hat trick when guiding Michael Dubb's Chateau [No. 6, $5.20] to victory in the $100,000 Gravesend [Race 7] for trainer Rob Atras. The son of Flat Out earned his first triumph since capturing the Grade 3 Tom Fool in March at the Big A.

Forewarned [No. 9, $86.00], owned and trained by Uriah St. Lewis, lit up the tote board with a late-rallying victory under Dexter Haddock, to capture the $125,000 Queens County [Race 8].

With only three horses covered in the Pick 6 to close out the sequence in Race 9, Sandro the Great [No. 5, $23.80] defeated his New York-bred counterparts for a $40,000 tag, earning his first victory in 11 lifetime starts. Patrick Quick saddled the Gallagher's Stud homebred, who was ridden by Benjamin Hernandez.

The Pick 6 will return on Thursday, December 30 when live racing resumes at the Big A following the holiday break.

Thursday's card will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $87,097 as the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday at Aqueduct Racetrack in Ozone Park, N.Y.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $127.25 to bettors who selected 4-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday's sequence kicked off in Race 5 with Bank Sting [No. 4, $7.90] capturing the $150,000 NYSSS Staten Island under Dylan Davis for trainer John Terranova which was followed by Spettro [No. 15, $14.20] overcoming a wide draw to graduate in Race 6, a 1 1/16-mile inner turf test for state-bred juvenile fillies under Hall of Famer Javier Castellano for Tom Morley.

Agility [No. 9, $5.70] prevailed as the 9-5 mutuel favorite in Race 7, a 6 ½-furlong state-bred maiden special weight, with Manny Franco up for Jorge Abreu. The Christophe Clement-conditioned Panster [No. 2, $5.70] provided Castellano his second win in the sequence in Race 8, guiding the mutuel favorite to victory in the six-furlong state-bred outer turf allowance.

Justintimeforwine [No. 3, $103] staved off Tackle and Brazillionaire to win a 1 1/16-mile inner turf claiming tilt in Race 9 to provide the biggest price of the sequence. Luis Rodriguez Castro engineered the upset for Patrick Reynolds.

With the Pick 6 carryover already guaranteed, Lobsta [No. 11, $58] clawed his way to victory in the $150,000 NYSSS Thunder Rumble to close out the Big A fall meet in Race 10. Castellano guided the winner for Gary Sciacca.

Friday’s Pick 6 At Aqueduct Boosted By $73,574 Carryover

Friday's Pick 6 will be bolstered by a $73,574 carryover as the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday at Aqueduct Racetrack in Ozone Park, N.Y.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $1,021.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday's sequence kicked off in Race 5 with Goodnight Olive [No. 6, $2.60] posting an impressive maiden score under meet-leading rider Irad Ortiz, Jr. for meet-leading trainer Chad Brown. Goodnight Olive was the first of three winning favorites in the sequence.

Sterling Silver [No. 11, $36.40], with Trevor McCarthy up for Tom Albertrani, upset Race 6 – a six-furlong state-bred maiden sprint which was followed by Miss J McKay [No. 1, $15.20], piloted by Dylan Davis for Christophe Clement, overtaking Gotta Go Mo to capture a six-furlong allowance optional-claiming tilt in Race 7 over the outer turf.

Public Information [No. 1, $7.50] scored as the lukewarm choice in Race 8, a 1 1/16-mile starter allowance over the inner turf, under a sharp ride by Luis Saez for trainer Mike Maker. Classy Edition [No. 6, $3.90] kept her perfect record intact with a wide-rallying score in Race 9, the Key Cents, a six-furlong sprint for state-bred juvenile fillies. Ortiz, Jr. engineered the confident score aboard the mutuel favorite for Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher.

With only four horses covered in the finale, Race 10, – Partner's Hope [No. 2], My Boy Colton [No. 6], Boom Boom Kaboom [No. 9] and Rogers Ginger [No. 10] – it was 20-1 longshot Chase the Cat [No. 12, $42.80], who took the lead at the stretch call and staved off Partner's Hope by a half-length to secure the carryover. Benjamin Hernandez piloted the winner for trainer Gary Sciacca.

Friday's Pick 6 kicks off in Race 5 at 1:45 p.m. Eastern and will include the $150,000 Gio Ponti at 1 1/16-miles on turf for sophomores and the Grade 3, $200,000 Comely at nine furlongs on the main track for sophomore fillies. First post on the 10-race card is 11:50 a.m.
