Rathbarry Roster And Fees Announced

Acclamation (GB) will stand for €25,000 in 2024, tops for the Rathbarry Stud roster, the stud announced on X.

The sire of 67 stakes winners, he covered 62 mares this term. In 2023, the 24-year-old sired five stakes winners, including G1 Cox Plate winner and Hong Kong wunderkind Romantic Warrior (Ire). Other stars include Group 3 winners Garrus (Ire) and Orne (Ire), in the G3 Abernant S. and G3 Horris Hill S., respectively.

Joining Acclamation is second-year sire State Of Rest (Ire), who will stand for a slightly lower fee of €20,000. The globetrotting multiple Group 1 winner–who won the G1 Cox Plate–bred 115 mares this year at €25,000. Group sire Kodi Bear (Ire) remains at €15,000 after covering a roster-best 161 mares this term.

Rounding out the Rathbarry roster is new recruit Bouttemont (Ire) at €5,000. The 2022 G3 Prix de Meautry hero won the Listed Prix Hampton earlier this year and ended his campaign with a second in the G3 Mercury S. at Dundalk.

Roster And Fees For Haras De Cercy Revealed

The 2024 roster of Haras de Cercy will be led by Cokoriko (Fr) and Karaktar (Ire), who will each stand for €12,000, Jour de Galop reported on Wednesday.

Cokoriko's offspring have shone over jumps this year, including Grade 3 winner La Spezia (Fr) and several other listed winners. Progressive stallion Karaktar sired a brace of Grade 3 winners this year, as well. He was the most popular stallion in France, covering 263 mares.

Other stallions on the roster include Australasian Group 1 winner Ivanhowe (Ger) at €4,000, David Du Berlais (Fr) at €3,500, Prince Gibraltar (Fr) will stand for €4,500, Tunis (Fr) is another at €4,000, and Zaskar (Fr)'s fee is €3,500. Wonderful Moon (Ger), at €2,500, completes the roster.

Fees Announced For Rathasker Stud 2024 Roster

The 2024 Rathasker Stud roster and fees, anchored by Bungle Inthejungle (GB) at €7,500, were announced on Wednesday.

The sire of six stakes horses in 2023, the 13-year-old has been represented by G3 Marble Hill S. winner and G1 Phoenix S. third Givemethebeatboys (Ire), as well as American listed winner Manhattan Jungle (Ire) among others. The son of Exceed And Excel (Aus) covered 64 mares this year.

Coulsty (Ire) has been priced at €5,500. A total of 90 mares visited him this year. Grade I winner Shantisara (Ire) padded her resume with a victory in the GII Hillsborough S., and she made $1.3 million on the bid of Shadai Farm at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale on Tuesday evening.

Rounding out the roster is Gregorian (Ire) at €4,500. The group sire has seven stakes winners to his credit lifetime. All three offer Oct. 1st terms.

“Rathasker stallions continue to produce high class racehorses on the track and therefore, are popular at the sales. We have priced our stallions for the commercial market, giving breeders a good opportunity to make a profit,” said Rathasker's Maurice Burns.

Classic Sire Muhaarar’s Fee Announced

Champion sprinter Muhaarar (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), who has moved to Haras du Petit Tellier for the 2024 breeding season, will stand for €14,000, co-owner Haras des Capucines announced on X.

Now owned by Shadwell and a consortium of French breeders including Haras des Capucines, and Haras de Saint-Pair, the bay is managed by Capucines Bloodstock, with Eric Puerari taking point.

The 11-year-old's year was highlighted by the victory of his son Marhaba Ya Sanafi (Ire) in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains. That runner would go on to place third in the G1 Prix du Jockey Club. Since the start of the year, he is responsible for nine stakes winners, with other three other Pattern horses among in G2 Princess Of Wales's S. hero Israr (GB) and two-time graded winner Motorious (GB) and G3 Bengough S. hero Annaf (Ire).

In total, Muhaarar has sired 24 stakes winners, half of them at group level. His other Group 1 winner is G1 British Champions Fillies & Mares S. heroine Eshaada (GB).

He bred 124 mares at Haras des Faunes in 2023.
