The fourth annual Lumet Show sale organized in partnership with Arqana was staged at Ecuries de la Ridaudiere on Saturday. There were 61 young jumping horses offered, with 66% sold for an average of €15,425. The total yield was €617,000. Leading the way at €42,000 was the 3-year-old Imprevu Du Large (Fr) (Kapgarde {GB}) (lot 1), who was signed for by Joffret Huet on behalf of trainer Paul Nicholls.
“Once again we would like to thank David Lumet for his work in organising this sale,” said Arqana President Eric Hoyeau. “The atmosphere was great, as it is every year, despite the showers and the few technical problems that we encountered, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of buyers for the high profile horses, with the French, English and Irish making purchases.”
