Santa Anita: Sunday’s Mandatory Payout In Rainbow Six Led To $4.3 Million Pool

With a carryover of $391,631 and a mandatory payout in play in Santa Anita's 20 cent Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot on Sunday, an avalanche of new money in the amount of $3,967,468 poured in by fourth race post time, creating a total Rainbow Six pool of $4,359,099.

Sunday's ninth and final race, a second condition allowance contested at a flat mile on turf, was taken by trainer Peter Eurton's Exaulted, who gave leading man Juan Hernandez his second win on the day and returned $5.20 to win as the 8-5 post time favorite.

There were 3,655 tickets with six winners, each worth $935.70.

Sunday's Rainbow Pick Six winners, beginning with race four were as follows: R4, (#1) $3.40; R5, (#3) $5.20; R6, (#4) $12.60; R7, (#2) $6.20; R8, (#10) $20.00 and R9, (#3) $5.20.

Racing resumes at Santa Anita with first post time for a nine-race card on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
