The catalog for the 2022 Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Mixed Sale is now online, with 117 horses on offer.
The auction will take place Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
Foals of 2020 offered in the sale, past or present – even if they were in-utero at the time they went through the ring – qualify for the $50,000 OTBO Sales Graduate Race, to be held in early March 2023 at Mahoning Valley Race Course. A $2,000 bonus will also be paid out to the breeder of the race winner.
Included in the catalog are 72 yearlings, 23 weanlings, 15 broodmares, four juveniles, a 3-year-old, and a 4-year-old.
Ohio stallions with young horses represented in the catalog include Air Strike, Corfu, Cowtown Cat, Danza, Drill, Dynamic Racer, Fort Larned, Indy Wind, Itsmyluckyday, Medal Count, Mobil, One Sided, Rivers Run Deep, and William's Kitten.
Stallions with first-crop yearlings in the catalog include Dynamic Racer, One Sided, Qafeef, and Solomini. The sale also features first-crop weanlings from Air Strike and Instagrand.
