The Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners will once again host its annual Mixed Horse Sale at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio on Oct. 19.
The sale begins at 2:30 p.m. Horses can be seen on Oct. 18 from noon to 5 p.m. for those who ship in early, as well as the morning of the sale.
The OTBO is lining up a selection of young horses, broodmares, and potentially horses of racing age. In the coming days the breed organization will be announcing more details, including a large consignment pointing toward the sale.
Deadline for entry in the OTBO Mixed Horse Sale is Aug. 31.
The catalog will be posted on the OTBO website and it will be mailed, as well.
For questions, please contact Mike Annechino at (330) 356-8350 or Paul Devine at (937) 243-4074 or email ohiobreeders@gmail.com.
There is no better place to acquire an outstanding Ohio-bred or Ohio-accredited horse than at the OTBO Mixed Sale. Multiple stakes winners have passed through the sales ring, and the state offers 43 dedicated stakes just for Ohio-bred horses every year.
