The Paulick Report on Feb. 7-8 published an advertisement received from an advertising agency for a horse named “Malpractice Meuser (GB),” a 2019 colt by Helmet [Aus] – Sneaky Fair, by Elusive Quality, who was catalogued and offered for sale on Feb. 9 at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale in Lexington, Ky.
Michael D. Meuser is an attorney in good standing with the Kentucky Bar Association and engages in the practice of equine law.
When the Paulick Report was contacted on Feb. 8 by Mr. Meuser stating that the advertisement was defamatory toward him because of the horse's name and a description in the advertisement saying the horse was “slick, sneaky, fast and reckless,” the advertisement was promptly removed from our website.
We regret publication of the advertisement and apologize to Mr. Meuser.
