John Gosden has announced that Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed Racing's Lord North (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) will not run in Wednesday's G1 Prince of Wales's S. due to the fast ground. Successful 12 months ago on rain-softened going, the 5-year-old will not be risked with the forecast thunderstorm not due until Thursday. “The ground will be too quick for Lord North and unfortunately, he's a non-runner in the Prince of Wales's Stakes,” Gosden Sr said. Love (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) will now face just five rivals in the 10-furlong feature.
