Mandatory Payout: Santa Anita’s Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot Pool Expected To Top $2 Million Saturday

With a pool that's expected to exceed $2 million, there will be a mandatory payout in Saturday's 20 cent Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot at Santa Anita.  With no live racing scheduled for this Friday, there is a Rainbow Six carryover from Sunday of $266,211.

This Saturday will mark day number eight of the track's current 18-day Autumn Meet, which concludes on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Entries are being taken this morning for Saturday's races and will be available later this afternoon at santaanita.com.

Saturday's main event is the $100,000 California Distaff Handicap for fillies and mares bred or sired in California at about 6 ½ furlongs down the hillside turf.

First post time on Saturday is at 1 p.m. and the Rainbow Pick Six will be comprised of the final six races on the card.  For additional information, please call (626) 574-RACE.
