Madhmoon (Ire) (Dawn Approach {Ire}), a group winner at two and three who was second in the 2019 G1 Epsom Derby, will stand at Haras du Saz in 2021 in a lease deal brokered by Richard Venn Bloodstock. The 5-year-old will stand for €2,500.
Trained by Kevin Prendergast as a homebred for Sheikh Hamdan, Madhmoon won the G2 KPMG Champions Juvenile S. in his second start at two. After finishing fourth behind Magna Grecia (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) in the G1 2000 Guineas, Madhmoon was second to Anthony Van Dyck (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in the Derby. He added Leopardstown’s G3 Desmond S. later in the season.
