Josh Kerin, previously working as director of sales for Hidden Brook Farm, has transitioned into a new role.
Originally from Melbourne Australia, Kerin has taken a new opportunity working in a multifaceted role. One aspect of his new job will have Kerin managing client relations for Silver Springs Training Center. At Silver Springs, Kerin will be working towards the goal of increasing the client experience and excitement towards their racehorses, while also keeping them up to date on their mares, foals, and yearlings.
Kevin Noltemeyer, head trainer and co-owner of Silver Springs, said: ” I believe going forward, Josh will be important in ensuring we maintain a level of communication and support to our clients that compete with industry standards. Combining his knowledge of the horse and his understanding of technology we aim to further enhance the experience of having a horse at Silver Springs.”
Kerin will also be working with the Vinery Sales consignment in a bloodstock and account manager role.
At Vinery, Kerin will be ensuring clients are happy with the level of communication throughout the sale of their bloodstock, while also being a welcoming face to all prospective buyers at the sales. Between sales, Josh will be recruiting clients for upcoming sales and hopes to expand his knowledge of bloodstock and continue to build relationships and business opportunities in the private sector.
Matt Bowling, co-owner of both Silver Springs and Vinery Sales, says, ”As both companies continue to grow, we have been diligently looking for someone with Josh's skill set to join both teams. I am confident he will be an asset to our clients.”
