Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Ky., canceled Saturday's racing after the seventh race because of inclement weather. A major rainstorm swept through the area in the afternoon.
The cancellation came after the running of the Juvenile Fillies Stakes. Among the races cancelled were the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile and the WinStar Mint Million Stakes. The latter will be run on Sept. 10, with the Juvenile Mile rescheduled for Sept. 14. Nominations for both races have been reopened and will close on Sept. 4. Previously nominated horses will automatically remain as nominees.
No decision has been made on Sunday's card, Sept. 4. Kentucky Downs officials said they will provide an update every five hours.

Horsemen: The $1M WinStar Mint Million now will be run on Sept. 10. The Juvenile Mile will be run on Sept. 14. Nominations for both are reopened and will close TOMORROW, Sept. 4. All horses previously nominated are automatically nominated.
