Gulfstream Park: $700,000 Guaranteed Jackpot In Saturday’s Rainbow 6

Gulfstream Park's 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a guaranteed pool of $700,000 when racing resumes Saturday with a first race post of 12:20 p.m. ET.

Saturday's Rainbow 6 kicks off with Race 7, a claiming event for fillies and mares at a mile on the turf. The sequence includes two other turf races and an allowance optional claimer for 2-year-old fillies at a mile on the main track. She's So Beautiful, a winner of her last two races trained by Carlos David, is 7-5 in the morning line.

Earlier in the afternoon, a field of eight 3-year-old fillies go to post in the $75,000 Miss Gracie at 7 ½ furlongs on the turf. The 5-2 favorite is Starship Nterprise, second in the Monroe and a winner of the Martha Washington.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot is paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Sunday's feature at Gulfstream will be the $75,000 Bear's Den for 3-year-olds at 7 ½ furlongs on the turf. Fulmini, a winner of two of his last three, is 2-1 on the morning line. Officiating, second by a nose over the winter at Tampa Bay Downs in the Sophomore Turf, is 5-2. Carry Back winner Papetu is even-money but entered only for the main track.

NOTES: Glen Hill Farm's Muted, a 2-year-old daughter of Into Mischief out of the graded stakes-placed mare Praia, won her debut Friday by 7 ¼ lengths for trainer Thomas Proctor, covering six furlongs in 1:11.02 after taking the lead around the turn. Muted sold for $450,000 as a yearling. … Rough Entry, a 4-year-old colt claimed in April by trainer Rohan Crichton for $20,000 won Friday's featured $53,000 optional claimer. It was the colt's fifth consecutive victory and fourth for Crichton. Rough Entry was a half-length better than a game Isolate, third in last year's Nashua (G3). Trophy Chaser, a Grade 3 winner returning from a 16-month layoff, was third, three-quarters of a length behind Isolate.
