Going Global (Ire) (Mehmas {Ire}) looks to take her American record to five-for-five in Saturday's GII San Clemente S. at Del Mar. Breaking her maiden in her fourth and final European start, the bay captured the GIII Sweet Life S. at Santa Anita Feb. 14 in her first start for Phil D'Amato. Capturing the China Doll S. Mar. 6, she took the GIII Providencia S. Apr. 3 and was a decisive winner of the GIII Honeymoon S. May 22.
Madone (Vancouver {Aus}) looks to rebound off a sixth-place finish in the Honeymoon. A two-time stakes winner as a juvenile, the dark bay previously captured the GIII Senorita S. at Santa Anita May 1.
Closing Remarks (Vronsky) has been knocking at the door of a graded stakes victory. A stakes winner against Cal-breds in January, she was second to Going Global in both the China Doll and Providencia. The chestnut was last seen rallying to be third in the Senorita.
